430 Best Value/Design Asian F430 manifold headers

my brother just ordered a set for his 360 along with TS 200 cel cats and Fabspeed blankets. Hopefully going on this week. The car has a capristo muffler (not sure which level). It should scream.

think so, but looks like minimum order is 100 units.

 

Crazy that could even be built for that price.

If I tried to build that here I would have exceeded that cost after buying flanges and u-bends before I made the first cut.

Of course I would be using quality material but I suppose doesn't matter if they are so cheap you could just replace them every year. (Not that I think you would need to)

 

T304 stainless steel isnt crap is it?

 

No it isn’t crap but it’s also not the best.

Also consider that Chinese 304 is magnetic and rusts compared to us sourced 304 that isn’t and doesn’t.

So you can call them the same but they sure don’t seem to be.

 

You get what you pay for...

Yes and no. Aftermarket parts are alot like bespoke suits. They cost 5k to buy and 300 bucks gets u the best cloths from italy (because they all come just 4 mills)

Misprint. They meant 100 units not 100 dollars. I did this on a form listing a product.

 

I suspect many Chicom mfg entities are subsidized by the govt to undercut the market.

I have top speed headers on my 360 and upon inspection handling them and machining on them I see no difference from any other high end header I’ve worked with. Welds were good, good fusion, no porosity, same same.

the only issue I had was the need to deck the flanges which top speed compensated me for this effort and assured the supply chain issue has been addressed.

 

RichardCH - what do you think the 'big name' brands are doing

 

So far so good with my Topspeed headers. Put the Fabspeed blankets on them.

 

How do the agency power units compare to TS? Better finish apparently?

 

That is my understanding, but I never saw the AP headers in person. Since it was my labor, I decided to take the chance and save a ton of money/pay for the header blankets.

Recently ordered the Avior x-pipe mentioned in another thread and am excited it see how it sounds. I’ll post some videos.

so our independant just installed the TG headers on the car. the flanges didn't line up and the flares weren't clocked correctly. He had to ream out the bolt holes to finally got them on. welding and overall quality was mediocre at best. the 200 cel cats looked and fit with no problem. had fitment not been an issue i wld say you get what you pay for as the TG are materially cheaper than all the others.

 

so do I buy some of these and export to you and make a profit so that I can buy an Enzo?
Any ideas?

 

Would you mind telling me how top speed compensated you? I’m going through the same exact issue with my install and its been a nightmare. Txs.
