I see you have the upgraded audio...is this a 19 or 20 MY ? Looks to be nicely speced.
it is a 20 with 200 miles and It seems to be speced exactly like I would have built it except I might have gone with the lighter wheels ...
I think so. It has a Blue America stripe which accents it very well. It is a beautiful car, the interior is also well done.
I did purchase a car but still waiting for it to arrive . I am told it will arrive by the end of the week.. coming from California...
First Pista Spider on auction Very basic spec with a lot of missing carbon outside May be somebody is able to determine the MSRP https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/0120/driving-into-summer/lots/r0197-2020-ferrari-488-pista-spider/897040 Image Unavailable, Please Login
basic is good when it comes to these, tdfs etc...load it up with carbon and be done. anything else goes poof.
So MSRP is $439K and current bid (3h 20mn before end of auction) is $445K - already more than MSRP, but marginally. It's a spider though, significantly rarer than a berlinetta.
I think the higher bids will come in near the end. Also, a base spec always have a tendency to shy some buyers. We need to get to 30 mins left I think before anybody even really starts to put in the bids. Why would you put in your max offer almost four hours prior to the hammer drop?
I agree on both counts. Personally I would not buy a car like this that doesn't have all of the desired options. Whats another $20k to $30K at this level? These aren't bargain shoppers bidding on a Pista.
The used car, bargain buyers, want loaded up options but do not want to pay the price. They look for a fully spec’d car but at a low spec price.
That feeling when you load up $60K in extra options on your Ferrari only to your car get called basic. Only with Ferrari
Just noticed the tyres are reported as Michelin Pilot Super Sport - I thought Pista Spiders (like Pista) had Pilot Sport Cup 2.
Well to me, those extra options are more lost money when the car is traded and I am not a fan of CF so this is a spec I would order. I am surprised the Spider is going to sell at MSRP. This spec looks fine to me but I don't like working on Nero. The color combination is great. If I spec'd it I would have done it in white with blue like the launch car, I liked that combo a lot. This car was $5k more than my 812 spec which is probably basic with only $70k in options.
