Third up was installing the new restored interior pieces in the 360. No more stickies. It’s interior is all done now. Crazy happy with that. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Still working on some re-wiring of the laser jammer and radar detector that’s built-in. Waiting on some pieces for the quick connects to come in the mail. We were able to install the dongle on the back of the radio so I can now stream music from my phone to the 2002 stereo... I’ll try it out a bit more along with learning more about the radio in the next week. Robb
And today’s last project was to install a new epic exhaust on the 360. An S-Line from the guys in Colorado. No install ever goes perfectly as planned but about 4-5 hours later we were good as an F1 car with 2 more cylinders... After about 30 min of higher speed driving and heat... Robb, if I had your patience, 101363 would not be in your garage. OTOH, as I am looking forward to my 90th birthday in January my perception of available time undoubtedly differs from yours! ongong good luck with that breath-taking car!
Wow!!! What a nice garage !!! But rob, how do you keep the dust off the luggage and etc. Do you cover the cars? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I don’t really cover the cars until summer after a nice wash. That’s our winter downtime here in AZ. Then most display stuff goes inside the house until October. Not too dusty though. Robb
Out with my wife on the mountain drive to the pine trees. It was clean but then there were bugs... Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Will look into a heat shield for it. It gets fairly hot. I heard the capristo on a 360 can melt the third brake light. I don’t want that happening... Great noise coming out the back. Robb
And I found an ashtray insert for the 360 which was missing it. It’s the same as the one in the F355 and other models. Nothing like a complete car that’s not missing any pieces or accessories. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Out today with my brother and his wife. In the AZ sun... Rosso Barchetta vs Rosso Corsa Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Picked up solid rear grills for my F355 and 360 since both cars were missing those. While the challenge grills have benefits in looks and cooling, I still like to have ALL the pieces to keep with the cars. I dropped them off for a once over and repaint to match. Adding the pearl to the paint on the blue car def adds $$ Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Interesting to see how much wider the 360 panel is compared to the 355. I wouldn't have thought the difference would be that stark.
I think the 360 is wider at the end of the tail the 355 widest at its hips so the grill width is a little different but not that much. optical illusion based on the iPhone. Robb
Dropping off the Blue car for a repaint on the passenger rocker panel that has a scratch. Likely will pull the sills at that time and replace with the new ones I picked up from Eurospares. Also looking at wheel refinishing soon. Robb
Located the original black calipers from owner #3 in NY for the Blu F355. They are now on the way to be reunited with my car in case of future classiche. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
