Excellent pictures. Scroll past the movie stars and see all the older drivers present at Lauda’s funeral. Good pics all the way to the end. A fitting memorial. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-7081279/Hundreds-mourners-arrive-pay-respects-Niki-Laudas-funeral.html Thank you Niki! We will never forget you. Marcel Massini
I read that Bernie Ecclestone did attend in the end. As did Gerhard Berger, Alain Prost, Flavio Briatore, Nigel Mansell, Nelson Piquet, Jean Alesi, Lawrence Stroll, Christian Horner, Helmut Marko, Toto and Susie Wolff, Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, Sir Jackie Stewart with wife Helen, Jacky Ickx, Damon Hill and Eddie Jordan amongst others. I didn’t see any pics of Hans-Joachim Stuck or Luca di Montezemolo, but I would’ve expected them to be there as well.

I recently received a box of things from my late mother's house. Among them was my childhood scrapbook dedicated to Niki. I thought I wouldn't share it with you. Funny how 45 odd years later, I'm basically into the same things .. The written article on Niki is from Jackie Stewart. The picture of the '76 312 with the aerodynamic parts, I assume, to push air over the front tyres is interesting. I still love 'cutaway' drawing of cars. Lots of childhood memories came back to me today.
I graduated from high school in 1976. I drove a '74 FIAT X1/9 at the time. I was a Ferrari fan and that was as close as I could get.
When I said “wouldn’t share” above I clearly mean’t “would share”. F’Chat spell check doing it’s thing as ever. RtR
Really touching Graham, I'm sure that it triggered a flood of memories of all sorts. Thank you for posting. And by the way . . . RtR!
