Call dealer for asking price? I agree, like rear side markers in place. I read thru thread...did you ever learn the extent of "heavy crash"...if indeed it was this (your old) car.? Repairs done w/o side markers added? Love this color combo. Best ps. bbi still in your stable?
I know a guy named Haratunian bought it and painted it black/tan. He rear ended someone in L.A. pretty hard. That's all I remember. Yes, the Boxer is getting a complete engine out service/restoration. Should be done in a few weeks. Image Unavailable, Please Login
14857 was new to Harrah's MCM Modern Classic Motors for Vandagriff's Hollywood Sport Cars. Sold to first owner Mitchell Rasansky in Dallas, then to Horace H. Hull II in Memphis/TN. Then to Ed Jurist's Vintage Car Store, from which it sold to Levon "Leo" Gugasian in NY. He then moved to CA where he acquired the dealership Motor Cars d'Elégance in Santa Ana and later Rodeo Coach. Steve Haratounian got 14857 from actor George Hamilton. Haratounian repainted it black. It then went to Stutz Motorcars, The Fine Car Store (painted red), Motorcars Int'l., Christie's Pebble Beach 1992 (not sold), Barrett Jackson Scottsdale 1/93 (not sold), Markham in KY, Stephen Hill, Bill Ockerlund, Mecum MRY 8/10, Mecum MRY 8/12, Macari, Mr. A. in Germany. ^ that poor girl could not find love. and what a perfect car for George Hamilton in Hollywood in the ‘70’s.
Re-reading this fascinating thread in detail, it seems one question remains: was 14857 Giallo Fly in December 1971 when it has been assembled in Maranello? Fred.
So this combo was the original. I would hope so we bought the car when it was 3 years old. Image Unavailable, Please Login
