We can get it done in one day and yes it should be aligned. We also added the valve controller which is a must. I figure I will try this before going to an exhaust.

I ve brand new Bridgestone S007; it s really the best tires i ve experimented on the F12, near of a half slick. It s like glue

Look at the profile you ll understand why :

Its like a different car, I highly recommend the Michelins. even with cold tires they grip very well. Also they seem to track better. The Pirellis would pull you in every direction if the road was imperfect.

Looks really good. How much lower than stock, about 3/4"?

Cars with a lift are limited to ~ 1/2" in the front and rear was dropped enough to make it look level.

Less spring travel = slightly rougher ride? I did same w/Italia and its slightly rougher, but doesn't bother me at all on that car.

I have a 2017 F12 with the stock Pirelli tire. Recently on an on-ramp I jumped on the throttle and the right rear felt the tire was jumping off the ground
as I accelerated hard. Some wheel spin I guess but a big boom, boom, boom from the right rear. The car did not move side to side at all but just stayed
straight. The car was in Race mode. A suggestion was offered the try it in Sport mode. I tried that the next day and exactly the same thing happened.
I backed off and tried it again same thing. Then shifted the 2nd and it did it again. These were relatively cold tires but....

I tried the same thing again with a Scuderia the next day and nice smooth wheel spin. Does anyone else have experience with this problem. It is a Pirelli tire problem? Bad shock absorber. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I am thinking of switching to the Michelin 4S tire. PS. The roads in Southern California are wide open. One good thing out of this disaster.

I'll guess cold tires spinning and the traction control coming on. The Michelins made all of the difference on mine, it feels like a different car.

What was the tire temp? My Performante is AWD and it hops up and down with “relatively cold tires”...

Yes, relatively cold tires. It is about a mile to the on ramp But the same for the Scuderia. Also
I had forgotten how hard the Scuderia shifts in Race mode. Almost. fees like a "power shift". Very fun!

So is the consensus now that "compromising" on the K specification on the front tyres is preferred in order to get superior technology of the MPS4S overall ?

There's no compromise. K spec does in no way define a quality or standard. Heck, if there was a 315 section for the rear, I'd say go with that to get a full neutral set. But seeing that the K spec 315 MPS4S is made specifically for the 812, I think it is safe to say that it will be a good match for the F12, despite not being the F12 tyre. If anything should be defined as compromised in this case, it would be the K spec and not the non model specific front.

Looking at how narrow that 275 K spec tread is for the 812, I'd say one could also just run the complete 812 set. Many have tried the full TdF set on their F12, and it has shown to work really well, so I'd say it would also work with the 812 MPS4S set.

Joe: it's wheel hop, or the tire alternatively gripping and breaking loose. I'm running Michelins on my F12 and it will occasionally do it when losing traction.
