Go Drive it and report back! I wont' have mine for at least a week.........lots to do before I take possession.
Yeah, it’s killing me, but I won’t drive it till Saturday. Tomorrow I plan on putting on gloves and a mask and wiping down the interior with disinfectant, and then saying f**k it, we’re going for a long drive baby.
My bet is you will do that for about 15 minutes before starting the engine and taking off................(at least I hope I am rihgt)...............I want to know how the sound is with values open and make sure you have no errors popping up........
Hey my dealership disinfected mine before delivering it, what's wrong with yours? You promised pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on finally getting the car. We will also need a youtube of cold start and idle with those valved pinned.

Took my first short drive today. Couldn’t wait another day. The exhaust sounds decent. Definitely as good my 488. Pinning the valves open help a lot, especially on slow cruising. Taking my first real drive tomorrow. I find it to be a huge improvement over my 488. Got my girlfriend back...lol
I take it no warning lights or errors popped up on the drive or you would have mentioned it, maybe it was all just scaremongering that pinning them would cause an issue, I hope it was as this will make the car awesome if sound is sorted
Bottom line is this ain't no 458, 812, or Huracan when it comes to sound. It sounds good and I love it, but to sense in having a debate on sound. As far as overall package, the F8 is incredible. I got the fully electric sport seats, and being 6'3", it's sooooo comfortable. And f**k is it fast.
Congrats! These F8's are beautiful. Was going to give 812 a try next but F8 is quickly climbing up on my list. I actually like F8's sound. My Huracan is too obnoxious for me. Since getting my 488, I've only put 150 miles or so on the Huracan. I should've gotten rid of it before the pandemic. Oh well. Enjoy it a good health and post some videos!
Sounds amazing!! Mine is hitting the dealership next week. Very excited. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It does sound good, very much looking forward to a sound while driving with valves pinned video. My F8 is not booked to arrive until beginning of December as UK deliveries are way behind US, obviously don't know anything until factory re opens could go back again
Reading a number of current threads here the F8 seems to be picking up criticism for its sound. I have a Speciale, 3RS, recent 812 (replaced a 488 spider), have a Pista spider stuck in lockdown at my dealer and an F8 on order. As a previous owner of a CS, I see people beginning to hark back to that against the newer stuff. No, just no. Great though that car was, and amazing in terms of sound, the Speciale has it beat all ways. Probably the Pista too, though I haven’t driven mine yet. No doubt the n/a cars sound sweeter and louder but recently - including a 3k mile road trip from the UK to the Black Forest in my 3RS - I have become aware of how anti-social loud sound is when driving in a spirited way. In fact, it has begun to distract from my enjoyment of the car. It attracts all sorts of unwanted attention, even on roads where it is fun and perfectly safe to drive more quickly. This never applied to my 488 and won’t apply to either the Pista or the F8. Given how fast they all are, my enjoyment was/will be increased with good but volume-controlled sound. Regardless of some of the things I read, I’m very much looking forward to the Pista and the F8, although the latter will be a car I don’t own for long (3-5k miles).
