During cleaning my garage I found a silencer I bought some years ago for my 308. When I tried to install it sometimes later I figured out it doesn't fit my car. At this time it was too late to returned so it got "lost" in my garage. Now it shows up again and I'm wondering for what car this silencer is made for? Maybe for a Dino? I'm assuming it is an aftermarket silencer but I couldn't find any number or anything else on it.

I attached some pics with measurements so maybe someone is able helping me to identify it.

    Thank you

It looks like an early 308 exhaust (maybe US v Euro) is why it doesn't fit??

My entire original system is longer than this one and the tips are over all only 31 inch wide its 4 inch smaller compare to my 308

My '77 GTB's ANSA aftermarket system measures nearly 36" side to side at the tips.
About 26" front to rear on the left side.
About 43" front to rear on the right side.
And it's method of mounting is entirely different. It is suspended with a spring in between on each side.

Looks very much a 308 exhaust to me, BUT for a Non-Cat engine (euro 308s or early US GTB without cats)
I like the design which separates front and rear bank exhaust gases, each in its own silencer, whereas the factory exhaust mixes both.
I suspect the sound is quite good.
Can't put a brand name on it, sorry.

The "vertical" nature of the mounting tabs would lead me to guess euro 308QV, euro Mondial QV, 1983 US 308QV, or 1983 US Mondial QV (can't be 1984-85 US as the 1-4 bank manifold goes the other direction) -- but just a guess.

It is definitely too small for a 308 exhauster and the mounting is also different even for a euro 308. still thinking 206/246 or maybe not even ferrari...?

This is what I thought when I figured out it doesn't fit my 308. Maybe someone knows the manufacturer?
