Are there any deals that I should be asking my dealer when taking delivery of my Portofino? Thanks any help appreciated Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Dang, that's hardcore! We got a free keychain from Boardwalk when we bought a used Cayenne from them. Does Ferrari still send a little model of your car when you order a new one? T
I was given a very nice no-drill front plate mount that is not from Ferrari. And a bottle of touch-up paint that was sourced from the body shop that does the dealer's bodywork.
Yes but mine took a long time to arrive. I had completely forgotten about it by the time the package arrived.
Ask to be loaded up with caps and shirts If your dealer is a nice guy, you'll find a bottle of gin and a bottle of tonic in the boot when you get home But actual deals? Nah, not really.
So, they ship them to the dealership instead of the customer directly?!? I'd love to find the original little model that came with my Cali. That'd look awesome on my desk! T
Well not entirely sure they ever did the models for the GT line. I have only ever seen them for the mid engined v8 cars, and only 458 and on. Not even sure they were made for the V12 cars in the sport line. They are always shipped to the dealer. Sometimes dealer will hand them over at the store, and sometimes dealers ship them out. One more thing, make sure you get your spare key fob when you pick up the car. They forgot to give it to me and I ended up getting a few months later when I was back at the dealer because of a tire issue.
Car Model: I was sent a well-made wooden box with a lid,9"x 6"x 4", that contained a 4" Portofino model on a stand. The box turned out to be a cigar humidor. The model is a heavy metal casting, not very accurate, with a bright chrome-like finish. For display purposes I will buy a nice 1:18 model.
Only if you buy new from dealer will you get the Mini model of your actual car with the chassis number... I have it for my Cali T and actually keep it on my office desk for motivation Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
