I feel dumb asking this, but given the nuanced knowledge here feel as though I’ll ask anyway.
The way I am positioning my Speciale in garage makes it easier to plug in battery tender and run the cord out under the leading edge of the driver’s door...you don’t see any issues with that do you?
    Thanks.

No problem with this, my Speciale (and others) are in the exact same configuration for years.

I also run my Battery Tender under the drivers door of my 458 Spider. No problem.

Don’t spoil the fun. He’ll be equally astonished when his F8 spider arrives.....and a whole lot poorer to boot.

OP, don’t sweat it, the ‘tight Ferrari door seal’ won’t care, either way.

Passanger's door leading edge for my garage. Small gap perfect for the cord. Huracan is more simple with a battery dongle in the frunk.

I use the drivers door. My cord has “learned” the location and No issues.
