Image Unavailable, Please Login Does anybody know where you can get these little guys, part no. 14672491 which is the bolt for the front antiroll bar brackets? They are NLA. I'd like to change my antiroll bar bushs, but a couple of these are "spinning in the butter" and need to be cut off, so need to be replaced. Fortunately the bushes aren't really worn, but as part of a suspension refurb it would be nice to do it all. Cheers
Ohh you can take then then bend the tabs back to shape, its QUITE normal for captive fasteners. Same thing happened to me, fortunately its an old trick I learned 30+ years ago working on Naval Helicopters.
Another fella in the UK had the same problem recently. Not sure what he ended up with... https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/sway-bar-bolts-348.587641/
its a crap design; and if I could weld it would be easy enough to sort out. Unfortunately I can’t and I wouldn’t want to pay for proper welding for what is a 1 dollar part.
It's how we did it on air craft they deform to come out. Those tabs are designed to hold it in place is all not take load. the square shape takes torque against the rails its inserted in. Sent using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Look for 'cage nut' on ebay... And there's a tool too https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cage-Nut-Insertion-and-Removal-Tool/254388649930?hash=item3b3abebfca:g:MugAAOSw9IpXxq6h
Algar Ferrari has 14672491 on hand, so do a couple other Ferrari dealers have stock stock left over. Scott
sorry, just saw your post. These could work. I could either swap the nuts out for bolts or but bolts through. Do you have them in stock?
