Every inch of the car was professionally detailed a couple years ago, including the underbody, engine, interior and paint. To maintain, I really only do spot detailing with Griots “Best of Show” and their Ultra Premium Micro Fiber towels. I don’t wash my car very often (usually just once a year) and I’ll do extensive air drying throughout the car, not just the paint. I just wipe the engine down by hand and once a year I’ll apply some WD-40 on certain parts for conditioning. For the leather, twice a year, I’ll do a light wipe down with Meguiar’s Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Gold Class Rich Leather. I kkke that it’s light and easy to apply. It also has a nice scent that quickly dissipates.
Did you get the car ceramic coated a few years ago? Otherwise you'd need to re wax the car every year or so I'd imagine to maintain the shine.
Yes. I did. Going forward, I prefer to maintain a more benign approach without further polishing. Given that it’s original single stage paint, I try not to obsess over every swirl and just focus keeping it healthy.
Mines still original single stage paint but as yet have not gone down the ceramic route, still a little unsure of its long term performance, so a coat of wax every year is my preventive maintain.
I saw an awesome 328 GTS at Cavallino 2 yrs. ago with only a few miles and it had this and it's supposedly better for our single-stage paint, safer (water-based, solvent-free, I think) MIYABI Coat from KAMIKAZE COLLECTION

I was clearing out some space and ran across this one. I took it a few winters ago when the car was parked in the corner waiting for spring. I thought it looked kind of cool. Image Unavailable, Please Login
