Do you have a pic of it as ours has an print that pushes into the rail and a metric reverse taper coming out. I believe it’s 12mmx1.5 but a reverse taper that a male jic or something similar would couple with.

I think we need at least -2an or even -3an or 1/4 inch npt The first diagram fits but the nipple is slightly small but would likely fit with a larger oring
I'm damned if I remember. I believe there is an acura adapter that fits. I had a couple laying around and cant find them in my AN fitting box. May have put them on my 348 TB setup
This 6AN adapter can be used, 5/8 in. (15.9 mm) diameter end that engages into the rail FPR socket (https://www.bodykits.com/i-24245763-mitsubishi-evolution-8-agency-power-fuel-rail-external-fpr-adapter-ap-uni-125.html). Bosch FPRs have about 15 mm OD o-ring so the adapter end should be cut down (easy on a lathe) to about 14 mm with its groove deepened somewhat to suit the o-ring. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes that's about right for Bosch FPRs. I suggest you go ahead with the mod of the 5/8 nipple adapters that you have as it seems that nobody is making adapters for Bosch FPR rail sockets, except VAC motorsport but their adapter is for early style Bosch FPRs (https://store.vacmotorsports.com/vac-performance-fuel-pressure-regulator-adaptor-early-style-bosch-p1765.aspx). Image Unavailable, Please Login The problem I see with mine Miro is I do not like the small 1/8 inch out feed because it could be too small for the flow As you can see the hole is quite a bit larger in the oem and because it’s steel the thin wall where the oring sits is likely fine But on this aluminum one I feel if I machine it down the wall thickness would likely be too thin
I am starting to think it would be easier just to cut out the adapter from the stock fpr and weld a -an3 on it

A smaller orifice will not really impede the overall flow, the fuel will just flow faster through it. No big deal if the length of the reduced diameter is short, very small friction losses. A flow through a longer stretch with a reduced diameter would cause impediment. As it is just the return flow, you should have no problem like higher fuel pressure at idle.
Question for the brotherhood I far prefer the factory jic style fuel fittings but it seems that most of the aftermarket fuel pressure regulators side towards using npt instead. I do not trust npt verses jic as much. What does everyone else think?

You ever check your actual AFR on each bank of the motor with a wide band? I get a little variance side to side I adjust with fuel pressure
Tim, I was able to do that with my old set-up (posts 14 and 15). But those Aeromotive FPRs were old and rather than replacing them, I upgraded to a single heavy-duty regulator and was able to use some of the existing plumbing and a single fuel pressure gauge. My car runs better with this new set-up. Testing was done last year at Daytona, Watkins Glen and Lime Rock Park. When my car gets back from Florida in April, we'll tune and dyno the car again. The last time that was done was in 2013. Since then, in addition to this new set-up, I've installed Tubi exhaust manifolds and have had the fuel injectors serviced. Barry
Right, Grant. New fuel lines were installed years ago when the two Aeromotive FPRs replaced the OEM Factory regulators. When we changed to the single heavy-duty regulator, those new fuel lines were used to replumb my set-up. Barry
