anyone hear about this? on a rooftop on westside piers this sat. sounds cool but only 30 cars and $150 admission. anyone here going? thenycconcouse.com
These events often look interesting, I always have this urge to consider going. But then how many times are these things just so so , bland and crammed with a ton of people. I keep forgetting I'm not 20 anymore . The F8 unveiling was pretty cool in Brooklyn but it was crowded. If someone recommends going , I will consider since I am free Saturday
anyone surprised by $150 admission fee? the ny car shows are usually pretty small and free. this is an outlier for sure
Not for the crowd their trying to attract. Any company that uses "libations" instead of cocktails or drinks, lol
haha i guess that leaves me out! about 10 yrs ago there was a similar event that was awesome. had amazing cars, a racing sim, food and drinks. about 50 people total though. more cars then people. nyc just not a car town.
and I went to inaugural nyc auction by keno brothers few yrs ago. beautifully put together event w great cars and I don't think they sold a single car. never came back to try it again. nyc is car event graveyard.
I remember that auction. So much fanfare led up to a complete dud. They got taken to the cleaners... 50% sale rate (20 out of 40 cars), and 45% sold at or below their low minimum. And that was 2015. In the thick of the post-2014 end of summer BOOM
just got emailed 'promo code' for $50 discount. I guess its going to be same old nyc car event with more cars than people. one of worst decisions by a car company in history was when Cadillac relocated to nyc. didn't work out too well
i skipped it but did anyone make it there? was a beautiful day weather wise. would like to see fotos if anyone went.
