Anyone on here? Interesting. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/d/newbury-park-1992-ferrari-348tb/6976633781.html Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like it. Not $69k like for a heavily altered and modified 348! I know 348’s have their place and I have owned a nice spider, but hard to justify big money 348’s when 355’s are superior.... now let the thrashing begin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think with a classier set of wheels it would look great. Something more period correct or racey like some BBS LM's etc.
Not sure about the color or wheel color, but i'm digging the diffuser. Regardless, it looks better than a stock 348 imo
I like it. But that paint color is a trend. In a few years the dated car will look double dated. That was not cheap so I suspect it was a passion project that when done lost interest and the build was the fun. Sent using FerrariChat.com mobile app
No way. Unless it was extremely damaged and flakingoff before, wraps are not that sticky at all. I wrapped many parts on my other cars, easy peel off.
The wrap gives it a plastic look thought it was gloss paaint at first. Sent using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I like it. I understand that some purists might not, and why they wouldnt. The biggest styling element I miss having on my 348 that is on the 355 is the larger integrated rear spoiler. The one thing that this custom should have integrated, IMHO.
Well the benefit of the 355 front is you can lower the car without dragging the 348's chin spoiler. But I definitely like the 348 front better but prefer the 355 rear . In this case the 348 front and that F430 rear end is quite good in my eyes at least. I'd do it. But I have no taste.
Personality would change completely with a wheel change. A set of speedlines and everyone would be like oooooh! coool. sjd
Yeah speedlines would look so good on this. The wheel choice is the only thing I don't like about this build.
I like it, actually. Not so sure about the 355 front bumper, but otherwise I think it's a fresh take on a classic. Yes, I said a classic. I'd spend more for a good and unique 348 any day. In fact...I did exactly that
Yes they are 19" 430 wheels. They fit the same as 360 wheels which can stick out in the rear a bit. 17mm machined off the flange is all it takes to March 355 wheels. Those are not machined they stick out like a 70s Camaro but with the car lowered it's not as noticable. Sent using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Ohh I think it's well done actually. Wheels are not horrible but not great, better than Challenge wheels though. Back end looks very good but it would be interesting to see it up close how good the fit and finish is. Even the worst body work looks good form 20 feet. If the fit and finish is actually factory looking and not Civic body kit bolt on fit, then I'd say its well done actually. That stupid grey is growing on me. Ugh make it stop.
I feel the same way, especially the rear diffuser ser up. I can get were the designer is coming from, and what he was trying to achieve. It's just the execution that does not work for me. It looks just nailed on from the rear. I would like to see a walk around video.
My issue is the gold is a warm tone and the grey is a cool tone. It clashes. Maybe it's better in person. sjd
