@ingegnere update on construction.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey Joe, I did go maybe 10 days ago and no real (outwardly) visible progress except the wall after turn 4 was almost done. Been meaning to go back soon - will keep you and FChat posted. Hope the crap weather here (rain and cold) hasn't delayed things.
Alfa pretty sure 84, yes. Lotus is 81. Look at the angle of the suspension wishbones - that's when they were playing with ride heights in the pit and dropping when on track. 82 car was much nicer and a winner in Austria. Same Lotus in the 3rd picture. Still no guess on the "driver"? Clue: quite prominent figure in Ferrari recent past history.
As expected, behind schedule and over budget. Totally predictable... https://montreal.ctvnews.ca/mobile/a-month-before-the-grand-prix-paddock-renovations-aren-t-yet-finished-1.4414000
After death and taxes, this was the next certainty!!! Maybe they should get the Brazilians in to consult and help; apparently they can go from green field site to brand new track all done and dusted in 6 months!
The way it’s going, they’ll be locked in for about 8 years longer than f1 will survive at the rate it’s going

Look great Too bad I am one of the poor fans if the sport and don't sit in the elite paddock seats. To make matters worse I got a late start buying my seats this year and grandstand 11 & 12 were sold out I could only get seats in the Lance Stroll grandstand near the hairpin I never sat in this area I hope the seats are better then his driver abilities!

Since last year was canceled I totally forgot all about the new grandstands and other construction through out the park I still have not booked my trip yet but I should even if it gets canceled again
Canceled: https://apple.news/Ahk40Bvb8SRqfLtCd47ZmWA Supposedly, F1 wanted to be paid $6M to run the race without fans. FU F1.
I was hoping they’d rearrange the calendar due to Covid and push Montreal back towards Austin for this year ONLY. Not surprised but kind of disappointed, might be an ok season this year with Fezza capitalizing on a win through the odd Merc/Can skirmish. Might be a blessing in disguise.
According to Autosport, F1 is still in discussion with the promoter. IF it gets canceled, Turkey looks to step in its place.
