Vipleague is your friend ;)
My point was to spend as little as possible & buy as little extraneous crap as possible & still get beIN in order to watch Moto GP. Having a superior product airing on a barely available channel and/or behind a pay wall is not the way to grow your audience. If no one sees it, do you even have a product?? Exactly. Kinda like a tree falling in the woods and if it makes a sound lol. Dorna/beIN/MotoGP dropped the ball big time. All they had to do was put a live stream on YouTube and allow people pay a reasonable fee to watch the race live and again as a replay at any point in the future. They have 2 million subscribers on YouTube...so easy to utilize that. https://www.youtube.com/user/MotoGP
what a last couple of laps holy smokes. marquez's riding always seems dangerous he really pushes the limit. glad ducati and dovi got the win
Looks like motorcycle racing and combustion power don’t want to part ways just yet.. https://www.motorsport.com/motoe/news/motoe-fire-season-jerez-opener/4352509/
Every MotoGP race is like having the Superbowl in town, with 75K-110K spectators...they do have a product for sure, just wish they cared more about developing a following in the US... Several years ago, I started biting the bullet and now buy the annual video pass for ~$160. Now I don't have to try to find ways to watch the race on some obscure channel, I get to see them all without commercial interruption, access to all interviews, etc., plus get to see tons of other archived content (watched the 2008 French GP in it's entirety with no interruption the day after I watched the season opener). At $160 it's not cheap, but you do get a lot.
Overall boring race today except for 1 pass, which I won't spoil. Today's F1 race was infinitely more entertaining. Role reversal this Sunday for the two series...
I think it was a good race for most positions other than first. Happy to see Rossi riding well again.
Sure, first place was never under threat, but de fight for second place was never boring with a number of riders in contention and a surprise outcome. Great to see Rossi back on the podium, setting a record with 24 continuous seasons containing podium finishes.
Looking forward to be in Austin next week and spend some time with friends at Pramac Ducati. Sportbikes Inc party has been getting better every year, too.
I'll be with some FCA Tifosi in MGS Upper Level and Velocity Lounge for Saturday. I haven't decided where I'm going to watch on Sunday just yet. I'm always up for some F-Chat gatherings.
I laugh every year since we are in garage watching race on 20" monitor. I don't think I can get into Velocity lounge. The only pass I get is pit pass for GP paddock. I know I will be at Handbuilt show. Have been asked to deliver a bike to Lambo dealer on Friday and not sure how that is going to work yet. PM my cell.
Haha. Yep. Often I'd rather watch the race with a good/smart racefans on a small screen. PM coming your way.
Just got home from 3days at COTA. A very enjoyable trip topped-off by a good main event. I really would have liked for Rossi to have won, but some very good jousting as you mention!
Good racing for the podium spots other than 1st. Rossi had a pretty good finish considering where he started...
