Im clearly in the minority, but to me the side scoop is the more interesting and agressive part of this car. Its a modern stealth fighter take on the jet fighter themes that influenced car styling in the 50's

We’re proud to celebrate this news alongside our announcement of auctioning the last available seventh-generation Chevrolet Corvette this summer as part of our continued partnership with Tunnel to Towers Foundation. All proceeds will support their efforts in providing sustainable housing for veterans and first responders. https://s.gm.com/nkcv6
I always withhold final judgement of a design until I see it in person. Pictures only show so much. The way one wing of the air duct opens with the door is certainly different.
I’m no marketing expert but this is an underwhelming first effort for marketing. I would think you would want a bigger bang.
The nose looks much better - almost too stubby, but it doesn’t look as big or heavy. While it’s not “blow me away” gorgeous like a 458, it’s not the rolling brick we’ve been seeing: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I bet the final appearance will pleasing to most. Mayor will, of course, hate it. The performance variants will be the biggest bang for your buck in automotive history. Think about if they actually do a 1000 hp hybrid like the humors are stating. Even if they list for msrp of $250k+ (sacrilege) Biggest steal ever.
I am liking it more and more and camo comes off. The proportions look great, but the intakes are still pretty awkward, though. Maybe, in paint they'll be less noticeable.
I think for me it will grow on me like the McLaren 570s, which I thought was horrendous when I first saw it. Now I love it! This is starting to grow on me for sure.
There will be a Zora.... At the top end will be an all-new edition, an homage dubbed the Zora, that will take dead aim at Ferrari, like the Italian supercar maker borrowing a few tricks from Formula One racing, executives said. The Corvette Zora is expected to pair a twin-turbo V-8 pumping torque to the back wheels with an electric motor up front, the package making more than 1,000 horsepower, they said.
IMHO: Intake is starting to look almost normal in the frontal 3/4 view. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Kind of reminds me of a similar situation with the fin on a 1959 Impala 4-door. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If its $68 grand to start it will sell like hotcakes If its $100+ grand I think it's going to be a stiff. And I think GM knows this really, really well. At $68 grand it could go up against the Porsche Cayman pretty well if the quality is there.
Yep. Yep. Definitely. Even if it's typical Corvette interior quality, it's going to outsell and drive circles around the Cayman (and I love the Cayman).
