Hi all, through this forum I had the pleasure to know one of the members here in Jeddah (Modificata ) who became one of my best friends. I thought it might be useful to start this thread so Ferrari owners in Jeddah can get to know each others. This way we can arrange for meetings & rides, exchange experiences about repair shops, do group purchases to reduce shipping costs, help guys buying or selling their exotics and many more useful Ferrari related activities. I have a '97 red maranello 550 with black & red interior. Will post some pics later as she is in the shop now. إذا كنت من ملاك فيراري في جدة فتفضل بالدخول للتعارف و تبادل الخبرات Regards.
Majd True gentleman in every sense of the word. Thanks to him I am back into Ferrari ownership again! I thinks its a great idea to have some meet ups in the Jeddah area, so if there are any lurkers out there make yourself know. I have not taken delivery yet, but I've just purchased a 96 456 GTA in yellow (so you cant miss me!). Look forward to driving it when I get back to Jeddah.
Thanks Adnaan for your kind words & Congratulations on the 456 GTA. Now my 550 wont feel lonely in the car wash at weekends Hope other owners in Jeddah will join our small club soon. Note: Lambo owners in Jeddah, dont be shy, you are welcome too. Regards
Good luck with the thread and mabrook Andaan for the 456. I have seen only few ones in yellow... enjoy it in good health. For lambo owners, i believe Cayenne_KSA is more than welcome. Will be in Saudi somewhat sooner or later as business goes. Would be a pleasure to meet yous.
Hi all, I met with Adnaan (Modificata) last week for coffee in Tahliah street then we took a short drive in his gorgeous 456 & my 360. Sorry for the bad picture as it was dark by the time we stopped to take some. Regards. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey Guys, I'm so happy to see a Jeddah thread!!! I moved out of jeddah 4 years ago to study in Montreal. I haven't been there in two years. However im planing to come back in january! Where do you guys live in jeddah?? We might be neighbours coz theres a lot of Ferraris in my area. I live in Hamra close to King Fahd hospital. Ralph
Great to see a Jeddah thread. I haven't been there since 1984 when I managed the construction of the Juffali HQ building on Medina Road. At the time, Walid Juffali was quite an enthusiast of Italian exotics. I wonder if he is still smitten? Post up some pics from the monuments along the Corniche....Still one of my favorite drives. Best Bob C
I used to live just off the Medina Road behind the Lambo showroom but ive left now and im back in London. Majd is from Jeddah and a top guy. Im sure he will respond when he's back on his pc. Wow Bob I know the building well. Still looks great you will be pleased to know. He is still into his cars, but ive only seen some of the classic Mercs he has. Im sure he also has a few Ferraris tucked away. I'll post up some pics of Jeddah now so you can see how its changed.
Hi Ralph & Rubino. Thanks for visiting the thread. I live in Rawdah district, not far from Hamra. I hope the owners in your area will join the thread so we can meet. So far the only meeting we organized was between Modificata & my self. I will try to post some pictures of the Corniche soon. Modificata, Eid Mubarak & regards to the family. Hope the 456 is enjoying the cool weather there. Regards
Hey Rubino, I wasnt even born when you left Jeddah . A lot has changed since then. The city is still booming like crazy. Your building is still there btw, and its looking good Rex71, theres two things I miss about Jeddah most: AL BAIK and Salhia Beach!!!!!!!! Rubino, did you have Al Baik (fried chicken restaurant) in your time?
Sorry, no Al Baik that I can remember. The hot spot was Pizza Sheik" no kidding.... taken from an american franchise called Shakey's Pizza in the US.
I started this thread about 10 years ago, since then I bought and sold several cars & now I have a 599GTB. If you own a Ferrari in Jeddah, it would be nice to arrange a meeting while the weather is good. Any one ?
Yesterday meeting with some friends. Planning to make another gathering in a couple of days. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Where's a good independent to service a Ferrari in Jeddah? I don't have a Ferrari but Ive got a Maserati 4200 I'd like to get done.
Hi Majd, Your 599 is the one on the left or the one on the right? During the weekend, I had the pleasure of seeing the 599 on the left (with the aero kit) in the wild here in Jeddah. Impressive. Ricardo
