So I picked up my 488 about thtrr weeks ago and had it coated last weekend. The guy who did the coating is doing it in a small airport so I took a couple of pictures. I had my wheels painted black and I actually love the stock wheels so for now they are staying. Looking into hardwiring radar detector and maybe swapping my RPM gauge to a yellow one (have the white one right now) Cosmetic mods will come in a couple of years, I will have it wrapped in a different color when I want a different look and maybe different wheels down the road Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Not sure if the 488 has a different dash than the 458 although it looks to be the same to me. The only mod I haven’t been able to achieve in my car is to swap out the tach color. My car has the red one and I wanted to change it to yellow but apparently they don’t just sell the background part individually. You have to buy the entire cluster as one part and it’s in the tens of thousands of dollars. Definitely not worth the price for me This happens often with auto makers when they use suppliers for parts like this. You have to buy an entire modular part if something small and inexpensive needs to be replaced.
someone here on the forum said they did it on their 458 and it cost them around 5k (done with the dealer) it is a really expensive mod for what it is so I might not do it. If it's that expensive, I'll wait for my next Ferrari as I plan to buy it brand new so ill spec it however I want.
I think the same, when I went to pick up my car, it had the stock Silver rims, I told my dealer ill come back when the wheels are Black. so I had them painted, waited two weeks but it was so worth it, car looks amazing in my opinion with the Black Rims. Considering Tire Lettering on them..
Totally agree on the rims, it's also somewhat tough to get the full feel in a photo. Lettering may be a bit much though.

Agreed - picked mine up a few weeks ago and changing my rims to dark will be one of the first things I'll do.
