They just sold a 1991 Porsche 911 Turbo with 55,000 miles at the Manheim exotic sale yesterday in Riverside CA which is a wholesale dealer only auction for $ $107,000 + fees.
Not really a comparable. Its not a Slantnose and the 964 Turbos ( excluding the 3.6 ) have always been weak in investment. DONT see how you this helps in determining "current market value"
Ok, so help us out here. What is the current market on a slant nose? Again I ask, how much can your car be bought for?
I'm not a Porsche guy at all but that's a beautiful car. I feel like I stepped back into 1988 seeing those photos.
When these factory slant nose cars first came out back in the day, I remember not being a fan at all (I was very much a 911 traditionalist). Now fast forward to 30 years later . . . this car really looks fantastic! It's funny how personal taste can change over time. Glws!
The rules here say no value discussion in the for sale section. With that said, I just bought a 1986 factory "special wishes" car and based on what I saw out there, I can tell you this car will bring a premium due to the miles and condition. And I agree with the seller that a 1991 964 turbo is apples and oranges to this car. Perhaps you should take his suggestion and pm him if you are really interested. OP, beautiful example AND GLWS.
I worked at a Porsche dealership in the years this car was new. I used to wander into the service department when they 'PDI'd' the cars for new customers. While others were earning a living, I was fascinated with what the techs were doing. I never, ever saw one this clean. This is a remarkably - and I don't use this lightly - better than new looking car. Crazy 'zero of one' color options too! Best to you.
It is a stunning car , it should be in the 200k to 250k range , I am negotiating on a 89 priced at 250k
