Thanks 360trev. If I go that route I’d like to stay with factory parts.
360 Trev, Can you tell me where these can be sourced and approximately how much they cost? It's one of the few things I worry about although my Indy shop tells me not to worry as problems with pre-cats are rare. Thanks, James
Can I ask why you posted this? After all, its posted only a few posts above your re-post...And you didn’t answer the question about it from that post nor did you post any information or ask any questions in your re-post.
Nice! it's currently for sale $269k - you should buy it back! https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=476900496&zip=98004&referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3Fzip%3D98004%26startYear%3D2004%26sortBy%3DderivedpriceDESC%26incremental%3Dall%26firstRecord%3D0%26endYear%3D2004%26makeCodeList%3DFER%26searchRadius%3D0&startYear=2004&numRecords=25&firstRecord=0&endYear=2004&makeCodeList=FER&searchRadius=0&makeCode1=FER&modelCode1=360
What is the market these days for low mileage stripe and no stripe CS's selling not asking prices? Will the 488 Pista bring more attention to the Stradale? Erik
That was a nice car. Great on the track. It was delivered the spring after my second course at Mugello. But I sold it because I just didn’t have the opportunity to get to the track that often, and it was not optimal for the local roads where I was living back then. I think I sold it to an orthopedist down south somewhere.
Here’s some fotos of that car when I owned it. I even ordered the spare tire kit. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I would avoid Ferrari west lake. Their manager Stefano left and their new team sucks. They were my go to dealership but I switched now and will never go back or trust them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Giacamo owns all the dealerships from South Bay to Silicon Valley so you'd have to go pretty far to switch out of the dealer system. We all miss Stefano but Christina is doing her best to keep things going while they look for a new GM. They are good people and I wouldn't hesitate to work with them. I'm certain they'll get someone in there that will fill Stefano's shoes and from what I understand, they are getting close.
I don’t know about the market price but I have a 488 pista on the way and of all the V8s that I sold in 2013/2014 (f40, 288, fiberglass 308, 430 scud and 360cs) the one that I would buy back for the best compromise between value, soul, engine sound and scarcity would be the 360 challenge stradale. In fact if anyone has a blue TdF CS with factory stripe please PM me.
If value isn't a factor which would you pick? F40 or 288? I can see what you mean about the 360CS being great bang for the buck compared to the others.
Mark, We still own you old CS it only have a few hundred more miles on it now (4,300 maybe), because we also have a 355, 488, Mercedes SLS, and a few other cars, but I agree the CS is a very special driving experience. Erik
I said something similar but far less articulate in the speciale vs CS thread! Nice to be in good company! Sent from my BBB100-3 using Tapatalk
Anyone know more information about the CS in the Dream Car Garage YouTube video from a 2006? Search for 'Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale Dream Car Garage 2006 TV series' ... Or direct link... Has what looks like a carbon rear wing. Is it a N-GT factory one?
Here is a photo of the NGT that I play with. You can compare that wing: Image Unavailable, Please Login
