Last drive with my 456MGT yesterday before it was sold. and - no, its not my house in the background. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Michael, sorry to read this. In which direction are you moving? Your 456 was a very nice example of the breed......
New wheels. 19" Fikse Profil 5's with centres painted to match the original wheels (PPG 36520) Argento Nurburgring. Excuse the dirty car...drove through a dusty construction site. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Another shot: Image Unavailable, Please Login Thinking about lowering it a little less than an inch all around and maybe adding 380mm Brembos to help fill the wheels out better.
Yes it was a nice one and i enjoyed the 456 for six years. The reason to sell was that i dont really use the 2+2 option und a Spider would be more fun to drive. My 348 Spider is too old to keep pace with all the modern cars at our club events. i will hold it anyway and probably add a F 430 Spider.
Michael, a lovely alternative would be the car behind you in your avatar. Perhaps a bit more practical might be a 575M. You already have an 8-cylinder Spider, why not a 12-cylinder berlinetta? You would certainly not lag behind anyone in club events.
No off road work for us , just a convenient place to pull over and reproup after a spirited run . Some wonderful roads in Spain and the local police are far more accommodating than their French counterparts ......... Went back to Maranello in the Maranello in September for the 70th Celebrations - a great weekend ...... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Image Unavailable, Please Login It's been several years since posted a picture of my 575. Here's one I took this in April in the Yarra Valley, just outside Melbourne. A glorious autumn day to take the red car out for a drive.
View attachment 2457263 View attachment 2457264 From time to time I really miss my 456M GT, but it makes me also happy to know that there is an other proud owner of this beautiful 2+2 V12 Ferrari. And a F430 Spider is a wonderful car, in the Ferrari V8 line presumably one of the best models with clear unique selling points. I think you're doing everything right Michael. I would say more beautiful than the new Ferraris. Simple as that! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Just got a bath after an 1100 mile protracted, multi-stage road trip that included her 100,000 mile service, a new clutch and other misc. stuff; (survived the Houston flood,) and then to the US GP, Austin, Tx then an eight hour run to home. Image Unavailable, Please Login
