Whacking a few up,I've been a little remiss lately. 1976 FERRARI 365 GT4 in Black Rock VIC FOR SALE - JustCars.com.au https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ferrari-365-1976/SSE-AD-4617539/?Cr=17 https://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Ferrari-400-1981/OAG-AD-14216234/?Cr=20 This one started at $180K https://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Ferrari-365-1974/OAG-AD-13117243/?Cr=24
No chassis info is provided nor much details about the car itself, but it is a 1980 Automatic Silver/Blue RHD out of Belgium with what I presume is 75K km (46K miles), and because its up for auction, there is no asking price mentioned: https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/ferrari/400/ferrari-400i-400i/7260070 Also on the same pistonheads.com website, there is another 1980 Automatic red/Beige RHD out of the UK with no chassis info nor miles listed (but 7 previous owners) at $49K GBP. It does look to be in rather nice shape: https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/ferrari/400/ferrari-400-i-coupe-automatic/7070266
The silver car has an auction estimate of GBP 30-35k, which sounds very reasonable. I'd be disappointed if it didn't reach at least that. Looks a nice example, though the mileage might deter some collectors.
Ewan.....30/35 maybe the 'reserve'. Hope it is a good one, and that it makes a good price. BUT, these cars rust in some nasty places too........and any Ferrari isn't a cheap fix. If it is a good one, I'm not so sure putting it to auction is the best idea.......would you ?
Auction sales do carry an element of jeopardy, that's for sure! But that's all part of the fun. I know nothing of this particular car, but as a 400 fan I cross my fingers that it is a good one and sells for a high (but well deserved) price.
Its a 5-speed with a very nice color combo of Dark Green and Light Cream interior. Details are scant with no mileage information provided (although odometer photo shows 18K km), maintenance history, nor engine bay pictures but looks to have been well taken care of from a cosmetic point of view. Yours for only $90K GBP at DD Classics: Ferrari 412 GT RHD Per the ad, I wonder what the Chassis No. is that can be traced to its "famous ownership"? Didn't sell (presumably because it didn't meet the reserve) so is apparently still available for £33k: 1980 Ferrari 400i - Classic Car Auctions Could be a bargain, or the opposite! Jonathan
UK/EU/World too many cars out there... When I started looking for mine, in 2014, there was only one 400 for sale in France. Today I can easily find 12. Makes me want to drive her now I am really proud!
Beautiful color - not much info provided other than being a RHD 5 spd: https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/ferrari/400gt/1905629.html Anyone has history on the car? Who in Germany used to perform conversions? It is located in Maranello and of significant interest, on the very last pic, it shows being parked to the world's only 4 door Ferrari - the Pinnin!!!!! Here's a link to that one, which if I remember correctly, now runs with a V12 derived from a 400i: This is the first and only Ferrari four-door sedan, and it's up for sale | Autoweek
Good day Simon, It looks as if the 2nd car you referenced is now on Ebay's UK Classified site with an asking of 106K GBP ($136.59K USD): Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 RHD 1976 Overall looks to be a nice clean and mostly original car complete with books. The engine bay, exhaust, etc looks nice and tidy too. If one wanted to be picky the only thing I can see that is incorrect are the tires... should be XWX's... but that is really reaching. For documentation purposes, here is the info... sadly no chassis number is given: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
