Ya I dont think mine will even go 3 min but it would be nice to know because when cruising down hyway this is how oftain the motor cycles a bit.

I would think its a little harder on it.

Do you know specs on 360 motor for speed torque, nm power etc

    Just curious.

No sorry i don't.Now grant this was not driving it was with the car off key forward.I think when your driving 3 min is normal from what i remember.I do remember this that the pump would prime every third shift with the motor off.

How would you hear that or tell?

I dont think I can tell.

Maybe capristo is too loud even with bypass closed.

    Thanks Michael.

If I read what everyone said I would not have as many posts.

    Thanks Michael.

Thought maybe working around heavy equipment had damages my ears enough I could not hear the pump.

    Thank Michael.

Thats also what mine does n to first, first to second, then second to third pump kicks in I think.

I just checked mine with the new HD Juri motor installed.

N - First, 1st to second, second to third...and the pump runs.

My blinks are all over the map.

New install on the motor after system had been sitting for a month and 2 blinks.

    Next morning. 4 blinks.

1/2 hour ride, 1/2 hour stop. 9 blinks.

Let it sit over night. 3 blinks.

I just bought a new accumulator bottle. Wonder if a guy can swap that in without an SD computer.

Haha. Yea. Pump is too fast! That's it! :)

Thanks for the heads up. Two threads back & forth. Mike and I talked this AM. Plan on swapping without the SD when I get everything here. This weekend or next.

If Juri sent you pump motor curve could you sent me a copy. Wantd to compare to my smaller motor. I have allways thought bigger is kinda better because it does not work as hard.
Little concerned but the replacement is bigger than stock just not as big as 360 or 430.

I do not have a motor curve. I would like to know the rpm of Juri's versus OEM though. I'll ask.

Remember, I put in a 360 motor swap. Not the OEM 355 swap like you did.

I understand thats why wanted to compare.

Mine had 6000 rpm and 250 watts peak power.

Just guessing but old motor seemed like about 4500 rpm but not sure of power.

I did not tack it just watched it.

    Hi Taz,

I have been told this is the problem with my 355 and I am trying to Source the part. Ricambi and other Ferrari parts do not find the part number. What is the motor officially called? F1 motor? Sure appreciate the help.

Bob - the motor is not sold separately. Juri (who I told you about on the phone) is making an aftermarket kit - you need to contact him to purchase.

First test drive today and everything worked perfect.

Checked the accumulator and my pump startes about every 3 min 10 seconds.

I really like the fact that the motor bolted in with no bleeding and all you had to do was loosen a few bolts.

Just some more info on the motor

Realistically you cannot do the swap in less than 1.5 hrs.
    Motor seems faster rpm wise
    Primes faster than OEM
Heat shield and everything stays as original
Larger wires than OEM so draws less amps. (I will check next drive)
    Waterproof plug
    Concours acceptable
No bleeding of F1 required because no lines including reservoir are disconnected
    Made in America

As you can tell I was impressed.

I will keep the forum posted on any other updates.

Grant - how many flashes to prime?

You sure the motor is Made in USA? (Not that it really matters)

Its kinda weirdbecause if I didnit know better it seems like it flashes faster.

8 flashes this time but it varies between 8 and nine. Iwish I would have stop watched it from when you first hit key and pump kicks in.

I think it is significantly faster. Time yours from key on just when pump starts in seconds to when it kicks off in seconds.

My old motor seemed like it was a little longer than a second between flashes.

The new one seems like it flashes significantly faster than a second per flash.

Not sure if you read my other thread but my accumulator is just over 3 min before pump engauges again.

Time yours in seconds Dave so we can compare.

I'll be getting my car out soon but from memory I seem to recall less than 10 flashes
