Billionaire and anal retentive. I've met many off his type here. I tend to stay away from them cuz they get angry when a poor Canadian passes them.

To each his own but the first thought I had was what a waste. I fully respect that this is how the owner chooses to derive pleasure from these cars but its definitely not my idea of fun.

I have shared my story on other forums. My first car here was an-88-951. Became amateur race champion for about 3 years racing other Porsches on road tires. I get a stock 930 and had to keep up with the Modena Spyder. The owner got angry and bought a flatnose. I bought a 91-928 for $3000 and passed him on the straights not to mention on the corners. He got so angry at the dealer insisting something is wrong with the car. It had 40,000km. Finally during a drunken night with one of them I learn that the group agreed to not invite me out anymore. So these guys buy these cars and expect people to respect their money not their passion. Not all guys are like that. I know a guy who owns a 355 Challenge and he routinely drives to snot out of it and amazes other Japanese when he hand washes his new Bentley.

Amazing collection. Very odd commentary on the vid.

Shame they're not used but hey all to their own.

This is the ex-Harry Leventis 993 GT1 road car prototype (which is White rather than Silver, and wears 993 rather than 996 rear light assemblies). Was it owned for a time by Don Wallace of Lazy Days Motorhomes fame?

    Great collection.
SAD way of using it. Makes me laugh.

Believe me, anyone who uses cars like that is thinking about $$$$$, not cars.

Don Wallace used to own a silver GT1 with the 996 lights. I'm not aware of him owning the 993 variant, but I wouldn't be surprised since he liked collecting the first or last made supercars...

Those are all great collections. Sad to hear that people who can afford an F1 have a hard time finding a real car for sale and give up looking for a while...

Tokyo it is not technically. Rather, Chiba prefecture which is close enough, I suppose.

My dealer friends here in Tokyo didn't have much good things to say. While trying to buy a 959 years ago Miura insisted on cash.
