Good Morning CCR Drivers and Team! Our first 2016 event is rapidly approaching and we can't wait to get to Sebring. More info coming to everyone via email shortly including new hospitality options......Our partnership for this event with David Murry Track Days is allowing access to a bunch of practice time which is great. We've got 22 entries as of the prior published February 15 entry deadline. Stay tuned! JF
Joe, I filled out the forms. I tried to register to pay but I was unable too. I emailed you with no response. Can you see if I am registered? Greg Griffin
I'll be running in the David Murry practice sessions and look forward to watching you CCR guys. I'll be tracking at Sebring 6 of the next 14 days. 4 in the Stuttgart Cup 3/3-3/6 (Cayman race), 2 at David Murry 3/12-3/13.
HI Greg, our email reply to your note was sent at 5:51 PM EST on 2/25 and yes you are registered and we are looking forward to seeing you!. There is some additional direction/info needed in that email. We will resend also.
Thats a bunch of track time! What an awesome opportunity, enjoy! Pls come by and introduce yourself any time. JF
Thanks Joe, I will. I'm very interested in checking out CCR. I track my 458 and when I graduate from my Cayman purpose built track car, I am thinking about getting a 458C and doing CCR. I'll be curious to see the track times of the CCR guys and seeing how much faster the Challenge cars are to my 458 on street tires.
Sorry Joe. You are right. I have a new computer network in the office. The "IT" guys reorganized everything. I just found it.
Ah, but your new Cayman race car is quicker than your 458 on street tires. <grin> I would guess between 10 and 13 seconds faster, depending on who shows up and the condition of the track.
The first CCR race of 2016 was a huge success. The CCR drivers were well received by the David Murry organization and Mark Taylor who always run a fantastic event. Joe Foster brought a new level of professionalism and hospitality to the series. It was a great weekend. Peter-CCR is coming to your home track 4/22-4/24. I bet a Peter Krause VIR webinar like Ross did for Sebring would be well attended. Just a thought
Awesome pictures. Greg-Thanks for posting. And Yes that is Greg's 458 in the lead which is the position he had all weekend. Impressive driving and congrats on your 2 victories!! See you at VIR
Congrats to CCR President Joe Foster, his team, and all of the drivers for an amazing start to the 2016 championship!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
3 former CCR Champions on the podium: Martin Burrows 430 Champion '14, Joe Rubbo 430 Champion '13, and Peter Castellana 430 Champion '15. (2012 430 Champion Alfred Ciaola was also in the race). The epic battle may be chronicled in the next issue of FORZA Magazine Image Unavailable, Please Login
Peter. That would be fantastic!!! The CCR Championship returns to VIR after three years. Last time a championship round was hosted at VIR was 2011 and 2012. So we could all benefit from the VIR Professor!!! I'll have Joe reach out.
Ross Bentley and I have tentatively scheduled an online webinar on the quickest way around VIR on Tuesday evening, April 12th. Details shortly.
