How did these go?
I am in totally the wrong time zone to watch but Porsche 550 @ RM sold for Euro 2.7 + fee's. Will post results when published unless someone else already has them
Some results on Anamera. F40 925 k+ F50 and Enzo also pretty low. Some cars sold pretty good, I did not see the cars so please chime in with some background info whoever is there, I think the majority of the auctions is today? I am interested in the result of the 550 Barchetta.... Over 100 years of motoring history represented at RM Sotheby's Paris sale during Retromobile Week: Anamera Ciao Oscar
On the 6th for Artcurial big auction. It looks like the "high point" of the parisian auctions. Because of the 335S at least, and some nice other cars (Agnelli testarossa Spider, first Facel Vega etc... ) Love the black "periscopo" btw and Catalogue is pleasant to look at.
This is what I noted on a piece of paper (w/o buyers commissions) for the RM one. Some indications may be wrong though lot 105 - testa – 170k lot 109 - 365GT4/bb – high bid 360k lot 126 - 365 GTB4 - high bid 610k lot 128 Mondial – 27.5k lot 131 512 BB – high bid 320 lot 134 328 gts – 125 lot 137 – 250 GT – 410k lot 141 – F50 – (dns) lot 145 – f40 – 925k lot 157 – 308 – 100k Ghibli red – 190k (dns?) 120 mistral 3.7 – 195k (dns?) 135 bora – 180 (dns) Mixed results I would say, but I would blame the quality of the cars auctioned. I inspected the cars (apart from supercars) and I must admit that none was specular (or even very nice), apart from the first testarossa which was like new.
Full results Results - Paris 2016 | Classic Car Auctions | RM Sotheby's Looks like the 400SA sold after the sale at 2.95m. Suspect RM had to eat a lot of commission to get the sale done.
Sold for about 100k less than the one just sold on BAT. So, Bring a Trailer outdoes the fancy auction! 911 S No sale. Porsches going soft. Anyone know the high bid on the TZ1? Scott
Strong price on lot 134, 328GTS, but it looks like a superb example based on the catalog photos. Some other prices are a little lower than I would have thought. There seems to be about the same level of uncertainty in the classic car market as in equities, currencies, commodities (esp. Oil) as we get into 2016. No one quite knows where it's going.
50k euro off low estimate for the 400 sa not bad......most AZ bids were significantly below low estimate (25-35%). btw....AZ results listed USD...of course Paris euro quality is suffering on the whole......too many auctions per year ! Jack
That's at the Bonhams sale which is going on now but looks like a no sale from their website. No idea on high bid.
As discussed on the Vetro thread, the silver car had a non original deep front spoiler, wrong wheels, wrong exhaust and some interior irregularities, judging from the pictures.
Low miles 575M 6 speed manual trading at 345,000 Euros ( 385 usd/263 GBP) Looks like my "modern" just overtook my "classic". Prefer both to my pension fund.
