As I am going to be in Vegas next week, and as I always pop by the store to see what is new, I called and confirmed and the merchandise store is remaining and open...the dealership...not so much. JP
Just a big thanks to our sales consultant, Mike Shiffman, who worked with my wife and I to close a deal on the most amazing car I will probably ever own, the Rosso Maranello FF they had in iventory. Living on the east coast we will not miss Penske-Wynn like you will, but we really felt and appreciated the warm, passionate and fair deal all-around. Really sad that the end is near - but only because of the great people who have appearantly made this a home for Ferrari enthusiasts in the Las Vegas area. As a car-nut some of the best friends I have are people I deal with in the car-world, people like Mike. It really sucks when the rug gets pulled out from under them and us and we have to forge anew.
I asked and did not get a clear answer. I hope so. He was just so great to work with. Hate to see him go off and sell Bentleys or Astons.
I'd like to see him sell McLaren's. That would mean a Vegas dealership would have to open but I'm hoping to see that too.
Just spent one last fantastic afternoon with Rich, Omar, and the guys in service. Will really miss that place.
All good things come to an end. Let's hope for a GREAT new beginning for Rich and the rest of the service crew.
Just spent one last afternoon in the batcave with the team to get some final things done to my car. I have to admit it was an emotional uphill out into the Wynn driveway, knowing it was my last got to me. This incredible crew led by Rich was the best ever. I hope Towbin treats them well. Something tells me they will, they're a classy dealer and they know what they are doing. I have visited their dealership since I heard of the news and I was very pleased. If anyone needs to contact Rich while in transition, his email is [email protected]
Rich is as fast at getting back by email as anyone I have ever dealt with. Cars - 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Seems like the final nail was put in the coffin today so sad. Hope not only the service group, but the sales group including Mike Shiffman end up with Towbin. Will not visit the new dealership unless that is the case.
The empty building looks sad without any cars. As far as I understand, most of the work force was let go, unless Towbin picks them up.
Actually most of the guys are starting at Towbin. Only 3 guys out of the entire team were let go. One of them being a tech. All the other guys will be there and I will continue to take all my cars from california to las vegas for service etc as they are the only Ferrari dealer I really trust. The location doesn't matter...it's the team and that team is led by Rich who really knows how to run an operation.
I believe the store is staying. Cars - 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Where did the cars go? Used, Certified Ferrari at Penske Wynn Ferrari Serving Las Vegas,Los Angeles, NV
LaFerrari not sold as of yesterday. This aired on CNBC yesterday. Here is a clip of what aired on their website. No bites on it: Rise of halo cars
Interesting, and thanks for the link. Why in the world would they state the car was sold on their site if it wasn't, though? They even list the price it supposedly sold for, which is weird in itself. Maybe it sold sometime since whenever they taped that segment. Image Unavailable, Please Login
