Been shopping multiple models of ferrari; came across this ebay listing: Ferrari 328 GTS | eBay Auction ends in a couple hours. Looks like due for service. Any thoughts/comments? Thanks, Dan
0.0% feedback is always a red flag to me. Also the notchy 5-4 shift suggests synchros are going. It's a decent looking car in the pics but I would recommend a PPI as there is no cheap Ferrari. the guy taking pictures is wearing purple corduroy pants so he is clearly insane
I used to not care too much about having a PPI done for a 308 or 328. But, now that the 328 is fetching a lot more money in purchase price ---- I would not go anywhere any 328 without a thorough PPI. $50K+ plus is too much to spend any F-car that could have a hidden "needs" list.
Just saw one sold near me for $87k, but everything was recently done including engine out service and the car was in great shape. I could see this one needing a fair amount of service immediately. But hard to resist these when they look like a "bargain"! Good reminder that there are not often bargains in the current F-car market.
It just sold for $56,100. Looks like a good buy to me - pretty honest looking car IMHO. Purple cords are a worry of course....! Who got it? Anyone here? Cheers Mark
I would think that would be more 2nd and 3rd gear I bet the linkage is out of adjustment. (just a guess)
