if bbr decides to make an open model under $1000, i will definitely consider it. i don't think their 1:12 is though.
I have bought a few models from BBR. I prefer 1:43 scale for space reasons. In the last two years I have been disappointed with their quality controls. I just received a LaF with black wheels and it had many defects: excessive glue on the front splitter, rearview mirrors all crooked and the right rear brake light that is not round. Too many issues for a high end model...
Someone who was on the factory tour was told that 90% of the LaFerrari cars had been ordered in red. Some were skeptical of that percentage but this picture seems to show lots of red for the color choice... Really like the LaFerrari wearing silver> Image Unavailable, Please Login
There will be a lot of red cars, but the production is not over and the really special cars are starting to appear now. I received pictures of a absolutely wicked looking LaF this morning.
2 pictures of a part of my collection of laferrari BBR 1/18 Quality is very nice, paint is very realistic, it's really a high quality reproduction. Carbon is looks real on the BBR cars. I have also a laferrari in MR brand 1/18 and carbon looks bad because it's just grey plastic.
The pic shows 9 reds out of 14. It's not a significant sample probably but if you want to take conclusions based on the pic, that's about 65% red. Not really wanting to argue about this but 10% non-red would be about 50 cars only and I think that figure will be amply surpassed.
Have you guys seen this? Ferrari LaFerrari - 25 December 2014 - Autogespot Spotted in Marbella with Swiss plates and color could easily be Grigio Ferro, however not Mr Obrist's because of the yellow calipers. Image Unavailable, Please Login
