Can you post a list of all the cars in your collection mark, including those off having work done. You have so many beautiful cars I can't keep them straight in my head.
Mitch, Maybe your post was supposed to be $90K - I read it at $900K. If it is $900K, not disrespect and I know how difficult it is to move but from your photos it looks like you are making a castle from a much smaller house in an area of smaller houses. Would it have not been easier to built new or buy something bigger to start with?
the budget is $900,000. and yes, you are right. I am adding to a $250,000 house . a stupid money addition. at 76 I will not travel any more. been every where I ever wanted to go and really worn out. I will take one or two cars out every day and go a few miles and may take a short trip. but I am very happy to stay home. just heard from the architect. permit approval good! will meet tomorrow for a finally review. my house is in the best location for me. I own four at this spot. all adjacent. google 1212 tates creek rd. Lexington, ky. 40502. and you will be able to see the house. the area is very stable. lots of nice shops. I have lived here since 1951.
Cheers Mark, it's good to know I'm going along the right lines. I've no Mrs at the mo which is great as no one is nagging at my crazy ideas. It's going to be more of a feature room, long, glass wall/doors looking on to water plus I'm relying on things going well to fill the 6 spaces! Thanks Andres, I'm loving the setting around your garage! I'm currently designing my home and a few others in an old redundant flooded quarry and my ideas are similar to your own design to some extent. I'm use to wide cars, that being said the diablo doors went up so less of a concern width wise. I havnt even thought about a workshop, ramp etc as I'm lazy with mechanics but perhaps having the right set up may change that. Cheers Bas Noted, cheers
