Nebraska Spotter's Thread 2011

i'm almost certain this is the kit car that was just finished at Midas. it's dark grey, looks like an Aventador/Reventon, and was at the car show in Gretna yesterday. i could be mistaken, but that is a lot of coincidence to not be the same car.

 

A friend of mine picked up a '97 F355 Spider over the weekend. We cruised all over Omaha in it on Saturday and he had it out again last night. Kind of surprised no one saw us.

 

Spotted it from the street while driving past so didn't get the greatest look, however from my vantage point it was a pretty spot on replica if that's the case (correct ride height, wheels, etc.) Couldn't get the wife to turn the car around for some pictures as we were already running late for an event in Lincoln.

 

if you just caught a glance, i'm sure they looked similar. it's by a company called vendetta. the car here in town is this same color, has been sitting outside of Midas at 78th & Dodge for months.

My friend let me ride with him in his blue NSX to Gretna Sonic again last night. We went on the cruise through town and drove back down to his house. Kind of surprised no one here saw us.

Other than the black Gallardo, I haven't seen much the last couple of days.

 

White Maserati GT at the Best Buy in Lincoln today around 4pm. Will post a couple pics along with other spots once I subscribe.

Silver Ferrari California (top down) turning North onto 192nd from Center St. just before 4pm today.

 

After seeing the replica in person, I can tell you it definitely was not that car filling up last Sunday in Gretna.

 

Red Ferrari 458 coupe into Village Pointe South just before 9am this morning.

 

Would love to see pictures of this.

 

Red 512 on 180th and Pacific around 2:30pm today.

 

Saw this one at 102nd and Blondo today around 11:30am. I thought it was a Testarossa but only got a quick look.

Also saw a white E Type Coupe on Dodge and 84th around 5:15pm.

 

Saw 2 Bentleys today, a maroon GTC w/ black top at 120th and L, and a champagne colored 4-Door at the lake manawa walmart, had FL plates

 

May have been.....only got a quick look as well. Looked nice.

 

Isn't a 512 basically a Testarossa? Unless you're talking about the F512M which at least looked a little different.

Saw a 300SL Roadster on Dodge at 84th about 30 minutes ago! It was silver and in need of some restoration...

 

Is that Joe Ricketts car??? I'm pretty certain I saw him in the car described at the intersection of 75th & Cass the other morning.
