I really don't like it. But still a sport car. (Or super?) Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my F430 using Tapatalk.
Hey Ares Could you explain Italian license plates to me? Just wondering what the letters and numbers are for? for example the "DV" on that RS4. Thx!
Prices are quite the same! Which tax are you talking about? The "super bollo"? We are talking about ~5000 for one year (a little bit less than 7000$) for my car. Sent from my F430 using Tapatalk.
Sure, it's just a sequence! That Audi is "DV" so it was registered on January/February 2010 approximately. If I register a vehicle with this plate: AA 000 AA, the next vehicle would be AA 001 AA. When they reach the 999, next vehicle would be again: AA 000 AB , and so it goes Now we are on "EN" approximately. So it's a "random" plate, no one can build a custom plate in Italy! this tax is stupid, many people driving their sport cars only one or two times per mounth and they don't drive in winter at all,
Yes, it wasn't good for the market when they introduced this new tax (2012). Now it is stabilized (more or less). If you have a car with 185kw (or more) you have to pay this tax. An Evo X owner would pay much less than me (for example). Sent from my F430 using Tapatalk.

Yes.. 4500 approximately, for one year. The guys who sell this kind of car, they already paid the "super bollo", so you don't need to pay it again. I've still never paid it, I'll pay it on november! Sent from my F430 using Tapatalk.
My mistake. We are not on "EN" . We actually are on "ER", I still never spotted an "ES" plate. Sent from my F430 using Tapatalk.
Thanks! I was wondering if the letters are associated with cities in Italy. Your explanation clarified it for me.
Not actually! It was, a lot of years ago. An old plate would be "Roma 999999" (because I live in Rome). "MO 999999" it's going to be Modena. "FI 999999" Firenze, etc etc But these plates are really obsolete We are talking about 10 years ago approximately! Sent from my F430 using Tapatalk.
