http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferra...t_34046wt_1026 Thinking about importing this car into Australia as a race car however it's a little daunting as I cannot physically inspect the car myself or know much about the history. Anybody familiar with this car? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
This is what I get when I clck on the link: This listing () has been removed, or this item is not available. Please check that you've entered the correct item number Listings that have ended 90 or more days ago will not be available for viewing.
Your link is bad, it didn't fully copy, what is the eBay item number? I will say one thing though, unless this is money you can afford to lose hop on a plane and fly up here and see it in person.
Sorry car was relisted here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330561507773 I wouldn't mind coming to inspect the car myself but other than to say the car looks nice I would have no mechanical opinion either way. Would love if someone knew this car or could recommend someone who might be able to inspect the car and give a mechanical opinion.
I can definitely recommend Christian, of Black Horse performance to you. I have my car serviced by Christian regularly and I consider him very capable and honest. +1 954 561 2553 Good luck, Alfredo
I bet you Martin would know. And don't forget about Tim Stafford in Ft. Lauderdale, great on the cars prior to 360.
Martin would know this car well, This was the car Martin raced for a few years, when he had the car it was matte black and orange, He sold to a gentlemen in NYC that I used to do driver coaching for, the car was crashed at Moroso on one of the last private days before it closed. From there it went to a shop in Ft. Lauderdale, the front end from the A pillar forward is new including rails. Minor work to the rear, did not hit the rails on the back. I put the CCW wheels on the car as the speedlines broke on impact. Last time I saw the car the gaps were way off on most panels, I would bet the car is due for service as the p/o was not known for maintaining stuff. Bottom line, if you can get a smoking deal go for it, otherwise walk away.
Thanks Foodracer, who is Martin and how can i contact him? Do you have any photos of the car in its previous guise?
Martin owns Cavalino motors, he lives in Argenitina now and owns a winery down there. It just so happens I have photos of the car wrecked! I will attempt to upload them, if you do not see them PM and I will email them to you directly
