Black Maserati Gransport at the Home Depot in Springfield.
I'd love to! She's a year-round driver, roads and weather permitting. I do my "grocery runs" on weekend mornings. 75 miles for milk isn't out of line, is it?
On my trip to DC, baltimore, and annapolis i saw lots of cars. Some of these included several E39 M5's, an SLK55 AMG, S65 AMG, S55 AMG, SL55 AMG, S6, several E92 M3's, old porsche 911 targa, S600, and several others that i cannot remember at the moment. OH! also this awesome E60 M5 with the lisence plate "V10M5"\ Also, there was a house in my aunt and uncles neighborhood that had a red hummer H1 alpha, a white H2, and a blacked out GTR in the garage. Is he on Fchat??
Despite the dreary weather this weekend was quite decent for cars. The most amazing spot was a white Lamborghini Miura SV on River Road in Potomac. It's one of the most iconic sports cars of all time, my first reaction at seeing it head toward me was "no frickin way....". Very cool. Other nice cars: -red F430 Spider on Georgetown Pike in Great Falls -black California on River Rd in Potomac -black R8 in National Harbor on News Years Eve
Ok so it's not a true spot, but I thought you guys would like to see this anyway. Had an interview with Bugatti this morning and they had these waiting in the lobby. My jaw literally dropped when I saw it, I had about 10 minutes to pour over it and it truly is incredible. I don't think I've ever seen so much carbon fiber in my life. Also some Le Mans car....... Saw this E type while getting gas this afternoon. The owner was very nice and said that everything is original on the car. It looked wonderful. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow that's incredible! Is that the Veyron Supersport? Also, where was this located at? Thanks. And congrats on the internship. -Jared
This? http://www.autoblog.com/2010/12/10/bugatti-looking-for-a-student-intern-to-drive-veyrons-fetch-dry/ If so, you are one lucky SOB Chris!
It is and I am, though it's not exactly how they wrote it to be. I doubt I'll be driving a Veyron anytime soon.
Spotted a white R8 on Wellington Rd and Linton Hall Rd today around 1pm in GAinesville. I don't care for the Stripe they put behind the "B" pillar on these cars, however, this had a black one and it looked nice against the white car.
I'd like to, but I kind of doubt it. There are 3 demo cars and all of them are constantly moving around the country/continent. Saw a dark red V8 Vantage on Reston Parkway this afternoon.
Today: -gray RR Ghost on International Dr in Tysons Friday: -red F430 Spider on Georgetown Pike in Great Falls
Wow that's incredible! I haven't seen a Bugatti yet, but I hope to see one someday. Are there a fair share of Bugattis in Virginia because of their headquarters there? -Jared
Not really a spot but I went to Algar yesterday. Took this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/carspotter11/5350648040/
How was Algar I might visit tomorrow or Saturday morning. Great pictures by the way and I heard that there was a GTO there waiting to be picked up. I am not sure if it's still there but Alex had a quick picture of it on the last Cars and Coffee thread. -Jared
