Hi Guys, the comms appears to be mostly in Polish which I unfortunately dont understand that well, anyway, I live in Poland and is married to a Polish woman and drives a 599 GTB (HGTE) 2010 models so I though I sent a quick hi to all the Polish Ferrari fans here

No, the car is on Swiss plates... I have lived here for 1 year now and enjoys it a lot, great country and great people.

The roads are not as bad as I though, with the 599 (even with HGTE package) it works fine, however I also have a Porsche Carrera GT and its terribly to drive on some of the Polish roads

 

Not many CGTs in the country actually. As far as i know one is driven weekly (the owner has several cars so he is switching) as daily driver in the Silesian region in the south so i think everything can be done but i don't think it's a good choice (evenmore for silesian roads of Katowice and surroundings). Overall i see you're a new user to the forums i let you familiarize with the other sections (the 612/599 is sometimes much more knowledgeable than the local ferrari dealer). Are you coming to the Ferrari showroom inauguration in Warsaw? I'll try to be there as well as several other fchatters.

 

I didnt know that a Ferrari Showroom was opening in Warsaw... when is the opening and is an invitation needed?

Welcome to Fchat. Always great to have more Ferrari drivers from Poland. We can switch to English, we only went to Polish because only us Poles were hanging around in the East European Thread.

599 and a CGT - congratulations - would love to see some pictures in our glorious Polish environment to liven up the thread. I just posted pics of a Fiat Multipla so we desperately need photos of some true exotics to heal our eyes. Looking forward to those.

Mat is most welcome, no probs with a lot of PM's. I look forward hearing more about the Ferrari showroom opening. I will be at the Ferrari Challenge World Finals in Valencia 12-16 November so I hope that these events wont be at the same time. BTW will they offer service in Warsaw?

Yes. IIRC first a dealership on Nowy Swiat and later on a service centre (somewhere else?).

 

welcome Hape. the service will be opened on grochowska (warsaw) most probably and it's coming earlier than the dealership itself. i can give you the contact to the CEO of future polish ferrari dealership if you want, your presence will be undoubtly desired pics of your cars are highly desired as well

Pav - His daugher is younger and I dont know what he is driving at the moment but I doubt SLR, not his style... if anything it would be a Lambo.

Any idea on how many Ferrari's there are in Poland? is there enough to start up a Ferrari Owners Club (doubt it but..)?

 

According to a website 1 Enzo, 1 California, 2 612, 5 599, 3 430 scuds, 17 430 coupé, 10 430 spiders, 14 360s, 7 360 spiders. Plus you have to add to that ab 15% of modern ferraris(cars that are here but no one have seen them). Plus several 355s, several 308s, 348s, PoleApart's 328, a Dino and a Daytona.

@Hape, too early yet for a Ferrari Club but we are getting there. Things will change in 2010, and not only Ferrari wise, modern sports car wise overall.

 

Sounds exciting Pav, I know that the Ferrari Showroom is opening in W. but beside that what else is happening in 2010?...

 

There is gonna be two showrooms

 

My guess is that in 2010 we'll still be waiting for pics
