Thanks, if I need a test day I may come out to Mid-O.

Specifically though. Do you know if NASA has any restrictions for methanol burning cars?

Also, do they allow riders if I want to take my GF along in a two-seat car?

    Thanks

u would want to call dave royce

    NASA Midwest, Inc.
    5250 Grand Ave.
    Suite 14-387
    Gurnee, IL 60031
    Phone/Fax 847-574-8032

now hear is wut it says in the ccr:

    18.5 Permitted Fuel
Permitted fuel is any grade of commercially available unmodified gasoline, E85 Ethanol,
biodiesel, or diesel. The driver must notify the Race Director if using methanol or other
exotic fuel, when class rules permit. Vehicles that run on (all or in part) electricity,
propane, or hydrogen must be cleared through the National Office in writing.

okie so we can see their that u should ask the race directory. but in reality u want to ask dave royce. but hear is a tip. dont call him and say "wtf u foakin n00b did u fine me three thosuand dollars for at teh last race weakend." cause he hates that.

now as for ur fine lookin lady. normally u escort models. so if u want to has a model in teh car.

pasengars are permited in hpde 3 and 4. so. this is wut u do.

part 1) call dave royce and obtane permision for ur alcohol bnurning beest. not difocult. nasa is. coin. oparated.

part 2) copeous display of svra licens at signup.

    parwt 3) request hpde 3

part 4) escort model on track in apropriate vitnage clothing.

part 5) humilty at press conferance.

    the end.

Why not race? We can always make arrangements for you to compete in one of the team cars--and perhaps even fit a passenger seat.

This is definitely the best strategy.

Thanks for the info Jack. The methanol car is a bit radical for the group, so I'd only be bringing that for testing if I come. The other car that I would give a ride in isn't quite the right car to race in NASA, but it should be a fun ride for my GF. It's fast, but is just too vintage.
Thanks for the invite to race with you, but I'm focused elsewhere with racing. I'll watch you guys have the NASA racing fun.

Thanks again, perhaps I'll see you guys this summer.
