Peter Windsor doesn't do Fox? (other than the post race)
Afaik yes. They 'only' thing they did over the years was supply engines. Although McLaren is actually under Mercedes control, they're an English team.
All in all it was a good race. I hope all the interest will get Bernie to put another race in North America for next year. I think Hamilton's move was a tad childish, I dont think he was trying to miss KR i think it was more damage control on his side. Massa had a few really nice overtaking moves. I just wish he would drive like that all of the time. BMW i must say the win was well deserved. And a big Congratulations for Robert Kubica. great race all in all....
By the way when someone calls an f-chatter a "moron" isn't that grounds for a ban. MODS? Also what's up with the McLaren avatars on f-chat talking about "their boy" Hamilton?
+1 It almost seems like they sabotage Massa's chances on purpose. They need to get both Todt and Brown back.
Best post of the day. I've been vastly underwhelmed with Ferrari's pit management this season. The clear best car is having its season mucked up by guys who have no feel for making good racing decisions. They work so hard to be 'out of the box' versus everyone else that they are penalizing their drivers. If you have THE best car on the grid, you don't need to take a bunch of stupid chances. I find their ineptitude very frustrating.
In the US, you can still catch the full Speed broadcast the next Friday I beleive, which includes the Acura prerace show and full post show.
Strange, Trulli said over radio in the race how his brakes were disintegrating, now Glock in the interview says he didn't have any problems at all. Shows how much the driving style affects the car.
Hope this leads to a Polish Grand Prix. I couldn't ask for a better outcome if Ferrari isn't on the podium. To celebrate, I'm going to hand wash the 328 for the first time in a year and then dig out the 'Will BMW win this year ?' thread......
Speaking of those guys, thank Glock for blocking Trulli, after a mistake, and letting Massa breeze by.
Rosberg: "My press officer told me not to talk about what happened" - Reporter: "Just tell me what you saw. Was the red light on?" - Rosberg: "I can't talk about that the red light was on" "I don't like going to the stewards. It's like being in jail"
The door was wide open for Massa and he was carrying more speed. He'd have been a dope head had he not stuck his nose. I think the result of the gifts were great for he and Ferrari. I'm in the group that believes Massa isn't as good as the hype suggests.
