Took this photo at the Ferrari Challenge day at Infineon (Sonoma) Why does this Alfa have the Scuderia Shields on it? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alfa's Racing division used to be run by Enzo Ferrari in the 30's before he made his own cars - The genesis of the first Scuderia Ferrari was Ferrari's racing team using factory backed Alfas before the war. Ferrari's ties with Alfa run quite deep.
Thanks much for such wonderful photos - that shade of rich deep red is the classic Italian racing color to me. What a machine!
On the track, on a tour in the Sierra's, or on the lawn the Alfa SZ is hard to beat as an all around fun car (wish I still had it). Cheers, George Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Pls allow me to post some pics of my beauty. I bought it in 1994 in Johannesburg and brought it to the Netherlands, where I initially drove it for 2 years. From 1996 thru 2003 I restored it completely, to the last nut. It drives so easy and beautiful! Woooowwww Franc, what a STUNNING colour combination on your car. It looks beautiful. Congratulations on the restoration. What year is your car?
Many thx Simon. I am happy you like the color combo. It is non original, buit i dont care about that. I just love this combo also. In the sunshine, the chromen parts look great next to the dark green. Year is 1963.
Two of the lesser known Zagato Alfas. One I own, the other I plan to own soon ... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Both beautiful. Excellent article about your car in a past (July '07) Hemmings S & E issue - loved it. I've only seen one Junior Zagato (1300) in person. A nice bright yellow. I'm still waiting to come across a 2600SZ.
Both stunning. I love Zagato's work. Well, most of it any way I think a 2600SZ is very expensive now, but Junior Zagatos are great value. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
