hey not too far from where i live is a farm (manege) that breeds very expensive horses apparently. nobody gets in, unless you're planning to buy. but a friend of mine had to go and deliver some gas there, and spotted 2 old racecars in the barn, complete in racing livery. sadly, he doesn't know much about cars and couldn't tell me what they were. (he said porsches...) a week later, i made a visit to the owner. he told me the cars were there already when he bought the building. he doesn't care too much about them, 'they're not in my way', were his exact words... he knew they were ferrari's, but nothing more. sadly i didn't get to enter the property. i have his business card, in case i wanted to buy them. offcourse, being a 23 year old student, they are beyond my reach anybody else heard about these already....?
wouldn't it be better if one of us contacts him, otherwise the guy will be overwhelmed with info requests.... volunteers anyone....? perhaps someone from antwerp, the owner works (or owns) immo antwerp & partners
Well, sorry, o.k., right !!! 330P4 & `62GTO ?! Wow, the whole world would drive crazy with this garage found....lets think & dream about. Roel will hopefully keep us updated on this great found. Whatever it is its amazing to find still in 2005 two old racing Ferraris stored since many years in a garage.
if it's a P4, GTO, 250LM... i'll be awaiting some nice presents from the guy that buys them! but i showed my friend (who saw them) some pictures, and it was either a 308, 328 or dino according to him. 308 michelotto would be nice, or 288 gto.... let's dream!!
if he doesn't know what you're talking about (wouldn't surprise me) tell him you're talking about the manege in 'het drongengoed, ursel)
oh man, i can't wait! just passed by that farm today when mountainbiking. i really was wondering what hidden treasure would be there! oh, also caught a couple doing it...
Please do, you got us all very intrigued for the least !!! I know of a 308 and 2 P cars in a local barn by a track for at least 10 years...I saw them and they will need some major clean up but one day someone will be a happy owner for very little $. Roland F40LM
