Hola guys I will be visiting Spain next month for twelve days. The plan is to fly to Madrid, spend two days there then take a train down to Cordoba and drive by car (rented) around Andalucia and maybe trespass into Portugal. Are there any memorable roads to drive through in Andalucia ? Something I shouldn't miss ? Any other tip is also welcome ;-) Thanks
The roads thru Cabo de Gata National Park in Almeria are nice & twisty in places with nice elevation changes down to the sea. Stop on the side of the road & walk down to your private Cala. You'll be the only ones there. Be prepared for a speeding ticket in the mailbox months after you return home. Lawsuits have forced the removal of the cameras here in Florida, but the Spaniards make a ton of Euros from them. Madrid is tops. Treat yourself and have dinner at Meson Botin, the oldest Resturant in the world according to the Guinness Book. Safe travels. Cheers
