okay, by popular demand, here it is. Post all your Ferrari Spotters here if you want to see if you saw someone and want to know who it is and if he/she is here on the board. Doing some housekeeping so lets keep it here on this thread:
I was going to the Dolphin game on Sunday and an F-40 was going north on Turnpike in Fort Lauderdale. It was just south of commercial Blvd. I was just wondering who that was. Thank you Rich
Last year... Cavallino Classic in Palm Beach... You had a red Ferrari. Who was that??? LOL! Sorry, Martin... I just couldn't resist. Mike
Rich: if it was supposed to be funny, well you missed that one. The Pontiac was better. I merged them with the thread you were supposed to post in. Keep it this way please.
during lunch today i drove past a red f430 in brandon, fl off of 301. anyone around here? its the second one i have seen on the road. the last being in surfside beach, sc which had illinois plates on it.
in Sarasota 1:00 today (Dec. 28) red 308 Gts younger-middle aged guy with black hair driving on US41 (spotted just south of Sarasota Square Mall) Black BMW M5 (the new one!!) younger guy with black hair and sunglasses driving Red SuperAmerica with woman driving! Spotted twice! (once going up US41 once back) Gary Roberts' car? His wife driving? little later-- blue Maserati Spyder, man driving I had a good day
About a week ago I saw a red GT0 about a mile before The Collection on rt1 heading south. I also saw a red Dino about 1/2 mile before that. Anyone know if it was real or replica? -Joe
There are so many Ferraris, new and old, in south Florida that it is very hard to keep track. Many of these Ferrari owners are not members of clubs, live out of the area most of the year, and do not socialize with some of us local yahoos. Today alone, I counted 11 Ferraris during my round trip from Boca to Key Biscayne. I have no idea who the drivers were. Be happy that you actually viewed the vehicles and lived to tell about it.
The GTO was surreal... even if it was a kit, from far away, it looked amazing. I've seen pictures, but never anything in real life. So I'm very happy . I also saw a guy in a yellow/bkack 360 spider 3 times in Boca, on 441, Glades (near the mall), and palmetto (just about as far down as the bridge). Also a 575 Super America, a 550, a few 360's (including a silver w/stripe) in Palm Beach. -Joe
Qksilver: Welcome to Boca Raton, and south Florida in general. The Monday after Christmas, a few of us met for lunch at Cavallino Restaurant in Boca. Not including the four Ferraris in the parking lot, we counted three that drove by on Federal within an hour, not to mentione the three I saw on the way. I still look. Enjoy the view.
I'm used to it . We had a house in Palm Beach for 16 years. I don't remember not being there. I actually hope I can move down after college.
Well if you go to Cavallino next week in WPB, you'd see a line of them driving down I-95 along with Enzos, F50s, F40s, etc... 2 years ago I saw the blue GTO with the yellow stripe almost get taken out by a cell phone talker in her Taurus. Nearly shat myself.. -R
I live in PA . We just spend a lot of time in Palm Beach. And isn't cavallino at the breakers in Palm Beach, not West Palm? I've heard many a story of shat pants at Cavallino. You guys better take a lot of pictures... I want to feel like I was there. If you don't... I'll...... have to come down and see about 70% of the cars anyway just cruising around Worth Avenue and Ocean.
out here on the panhandle siteings are rare, although recently i've seen a red spider tooling around palm bay here in pcb and tonite a red 360 turning onto thomas dr. always a pleasure to watch 'em go past. bill cosby used to do a bit where he said he let his friend drive his car so he could watch it go by.

Yesterday around 12:45 PM on PGA Blvd going east and turning onto 95 South onramp- Yellow 348? convertible. About 30 seconds later going west on PGA Blvd- Black 360. I bet if I go down Beeline in the next few days there will be tons of F-cars heading towards Moroso.
I spotted the reflection of a red/tan 360 Spyder today in the windows of a Boca shopping center this afternoon. Surprisingly enough (and again this was just the reflection of the car that I saw) the guy driving somewhat resembled me to my surprise. HOLY CRAP!!!!.....what the hell am I saying here.....it was just me in my car now that I think about it. Oh well....so much for the "Spotted" thread......
Since Ferraris are so commonplace and I get tired of typing I'll limit my sightings of NEW cars - yeterrday - to a Superamerica (flipping its top at a traffic light), very cool and better looking than the photos - a Porsche Cayman, good looking but a little funky in the rear quarter (if you are used to the lines of a 911) - and the new Jeep Commander, which couldn't possibly be more square or ugly. FWIW - there are more exotics pparked in the valet lot at my country club than on most people's "spotter" lists. I was perusing the gate pass registrations a few weeks ago - over three dozen ferraris, over two dozen Continential GTs, a smattering of other interesting exotics - - in a neighborhood of about 1000 homes. Interestingly, only four ther Civics - now that is exotic! Scottie www.TheCarcierge.com A secure, climate controlled, car storage facility
I was right behind you in my Titanium Stradale yesterday on your way out yesterday, and followed for a few miles. I'm not originally from this area, just moved to Jensen Beach from IN, but I *think* you may have turned off on Indiantown Rd? Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello in person. Your 512 TR is a *very* clean example. Didn't get a chance to see your wheels too well from behind, but should I assume they're aftermarket since they're bright finished? Hey guys (Martin in particular) when is the "Ferraris at Disney" event this year? My wife wants to go to Disney again and I figured we could take a drive down from Toronto, maybe get a convoy of a few Ferraris to head down together...anyone know the details? Thanks!
