    I had an interest in an F40 on behalf of a particular client. That F40's original seats are missing. I have just been told that the car is no longer available to us, so thanks for the interest in this short-lived thread.

    not sure if he still has them, but I helped Joe G from back east aquire some about 1.5 years ago...THEY WERE BRAND NEW

    I only have one left and it is now my office chair courtesy of Ron at Race Chairs.

    I do however have a roll of original seat fabric that I received from Joe Sackey when I purchased one of his F40's.

    Should it come to it I can put serious requests to PF and other Prototype shops that can make anything. PF likely could make exact F40 Seats.

    I warn that the price for prototype work is very expensive but the work that's possible to have done is truly incredible in terms of exactly matching anything.

    My guess and it's simply a guess is that to replicate F 40 Seats assuming the molds still exist would be about 10Ke. If they don't and a set of original ones had to be scanned and replicated about 30Ke.

    There were a pair of US F40 seats on ebay till last month... I remember because I have sold a Michelotto cat F40 two weeks ago in Sweden, with problem of seats... but I found only a pair US type..


    anyway telephone here: http://www.tappezzerialuppi.com they had repair my seats... with original tissue.

    they are the same as the 348 serie speciale seats
    or actually the 348 serie speciale seats are the same as the F40

    Speaking of the USA cars only: in my estimation, more than 95% of the cars retain their original seats. Even if they are not in the car, they are safely tucked away and remain available. It is a rare occurrence when the original seats are simply 'missing'.

    348 Speciale seats are tan leather-trimmed.

    F40 seats are red nomex-trimmed.

    The shells are the same.

    fwiw those seats have belt motors which are not part of the base part # (and good for you)
