Crystal Cove Pics - 3/5/05

Hey guys, these are some great pics! I've liked the Vector ever since I saw my first pictures of it in Automobile Magazine way back in 1990. One question....what does it sound like? I've never actually heard one (I don't think there are any in Canada)....what other car would you it's sound to?

The 430 looked fantastic and that 300SL Gullwing is gorgeous!

 

Nice pictures as usual, gents. Turned out to be quite a good morning - nice to meet several new F-chatters.

Video is awesome - can we get a couple more hours worth???

Gorgous daytona seats, I love the 430 but that one already had swirls all over it so sad.

wow, INcredible pics, thanks so much. You guys are very lucky to live close to a meet like that. What an awesome bunch of cars. What town is it, maybe I'll take a drive down the coast sometime. Is it every sunday? and are some sundays better than others?

Hi John,

These cars arrive between 6AM and 7AM on almost every Saturday morning (weather depending)... Crystal Cove is south of Newport Beach and about 5 miles north of Laguna Beach. You couldn't ask for a more perfect location, although Mendocino is also a gorgeous place on earth!

I'm actually looking to move to Orange County. Not sure where as of yet but within the year. Seeing all those beautiful cars, I think more like the summer Awesome whips

Every Sat. - La Cañada - Morning Derelicts - Starbucks 1929 Verdugo Rd. at the 2 Fwy - 7 to 9AM.

Smaller than CC but some interesting cars show up.

 

This is great - 13 miles instead of 50 - I will definitely check this out as it is really close to downtown LA.

To echo what others have said, thanks for the (always) amazing pictures - definitely my favourite thread to look forward to every week. Love living vicariously through you guys as I sit up here buried in ice and snow.

The Vector is certainly one of the more "interesting" stories in the automotive world.

The gullwing got me wet! The Vector is wild, but boy, it sure does scream Pontiac Fiero on the inside and kit car on the outside.

The E type was pretty spectacular. I gotta get down there!

Saw the video and thats one nice camera... Love how the wheels spins on the F430, reminds me of the HRE 841R but only in 7spoke split... I thought I saw Jordan on the background

Thank you for the compliments. We had no idea how the video would turn out, as it was our first time actually using it, and since it did indeed turn out so well, we are planning to do more (if we can get up that early more than once every couple months.

 

I think I was standing there on the side of the road right with you guys for quite a while. I was the hairy guy in the leather jacket practicaly getting run over by the cars. Next time Ill say hi to you guys!
