Those who have attended the show know how amazing the location is. For those out of the area, who might not realize how close the show is to the ocean, here's another view of CC. It's an afternoon shot, but the point comes across.

The structures you see just on top of the cliff are part of the actual shopping center, and this is where the show is. Above is the Crystal Cove housing community.
The Pacific Coast Highway (1) is just in front of the shopping center, out of sight.

Do you have to take the toll road? Or can you get there using the 405? This would be coming from San Diego.

 

No, not unless you're itching to pay $3.50 or whatever it is. You may want to take the 133 to Laguna and then PCH North. It's a nice drive.

I've been admiring the crystal cove threads and I keep wondering about how the level of automotive quality stays sky high. Do they have a bouncer at the entrance deciding if the whips are worthy of being there?

 

The "OC" and So CA in general is a car mecca. Anything new you will see at CC almost sooner then anywhere else. CC has become rather famous and it continues to attract the best. No bouncers, just rent-a-cops that make sure you're there before 7AM for the choice parking.

 

How do i get there coming from Los Angeles? Do i just make my way to South Newport beach and start looking around for you guys?

Get into Newport a little before 7am and you can follow any type of specialty/exotic car that you see down to the location.
