Reasonably priced GT4, Simon would go ape over the lack of photos https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1975-ferrari-dino-gt4-manual/SSE-AD-17113612 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Read a lot about this fool here on the forum. I definitely think he's pecker head after I watched some of his Yoututbe videos.
For the oldtimers, the 70's an d 80's had a similar character named Don Fong, who scammed a number of Ferrari owners in a similar way. Some things never change.
Hi all, first time poster on this forum. I am finally at a point where I’m in a position to buy a Ferrari and have narrowed it down to a 458 Italia/Spider. It’s a significant commitment so I want to make sure I get the right car I can enjoy and not lose too much on when/if the time comes to sell. I understand owning a Ferrari isn’t a money making exercise, I just don’t take a massive hit on depreciation. I have been following the market for the past couple of months so would appreciate to hear from any of you about anything to keep in mind when looking at the 458 (not fussed about colour) and where the market for them is generally tracking. I’m based in Adelaide so happy for anyone to throw leads on any cars my way. Cheers
Hi mate, Welcome to the asylum. Don't take anything anyone here says too seriously, but you can start by filling out you profile page and at least put your christian name up. A 458 is a hell of a car. Km's mean nothing. Service history means everything.
Welcome to the forum George. Can't help out in regard to the car you're after, but buy the best one you can afford and don't worry about resale, just drive it and enjoy man. You only live once. Wish you all the best with it and be sure to post pics when you get your Ferrari.
Thanks mate profile updated. Looking for something with full history and receipts so happy to overlook Km’s for a solid car
Just get in the headspace now that you will lose money on it and have $10k ready each year for “incidentals” and you’ll be fine
Welcome, while I cant help with your search, I have a 360 and also live in Adelaide, western suburbs, when you find a car, would be good to meet up and cruise some time
As your first F car, you’re starting with a good one… as far as appreciation goes, who knows, but the 458 is fast becoming a modern classic and prices are holding up very well.
