Wow, it looks like I'll be sending Quattroruote quite a bit of money in the future. Nice stuff. Question- I see Road Signature models in showing a 1/24th Lincoln limo on the ANTICS page. That doesn't sound right. Is it a typo or is that for real?
I think they are supposed to be priced around $30.00 each. I have seen them for less. Look around Europe and you might get a better price. Tom Tanner/Scale Designs/Ferrari Expo 2009
Here are a few more from the 1/24th collection including some non Italian cars. I show these to give you an idea of the quality. Everything opens on all of them. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I got the information from 3 different Italian websites. They have several forums about just these models. TT/SD
What is also nice about these Quattroruote models is that they each come with a nice hardcover book that covers the real car (book includes rare articles and photos in color).
A few more new ones in 1/24th scale by Quattroroute. If you want more information on 1/24th diecasts go to the Italian website diecast 1-24. Alot of new stuff coming out weekly. Here are 2 pictures of the Quattroroute 1/24th Alfa 1961 Spider. These photos came from the very nice Italian website www.diecast1-24.blogspot.com Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2009 model contest and photography/art display-Chicago April 25th 2009 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ok, now I will have to have some of these as 1/24th is my absolute favorite scale size.IMO it bridges the gap between 1/43-too small and 1/18 great but sometimes a space problem.
Go on that link I gave. CARMODEL in Italy have some of them. Also Ebay Italy has almost all of them for sale from many dealers. You can find them on other European Ebay listings to. Here is the latest from Quattroroute in 1/24th scale, The FIAT 127. Also a photo of the Motorama/Cararama 1/24th Alfa 8C. Next up in 1/24th from Quattroroute: Opel Kadett coupe 1973 Audi Quattro coupe 1986 NSU Prinz 1970 FIAT 131 Abarth 1976 Alfasud coupe 1972 Renault Alpine A110 1971 Ford Capri GT 1970 Lancia B24 spider 1955 Alfa Romeo GT JR 1966 FIAT 850 super 1964 Citroen Dyane 6 1978 Opel GT 1970 The quality on these Quattroroute models is the best I have seen on a diecast car model in 1/24th scale. They are as good if not better than the 1/18th AutoArt in quality and detail, yet they are smaller. The Cararama 1/24th 8C is good, but not as good quality as the Quattroute collections models. Thanks to www.diecast1-24.blogspot.com for keeping us up on new 1/24th scale diecast releases.
