Back in April 2005 I posted some bullets for 'What makes a good FerrariChat.com user?'. 7 years later it is impressive they are still fully relevant points. We have grown from 30,000 to 100,000 users in that timespan. We have learned lessons from a management standpoint and many new great users have joined us. It is inevitable with this large of communit,y like any small city, that there will be outliers that aren't good users. We have moderators, rules, and "bottom up" community influence that isn't set on going after anyone proactively without cause. We are simply reactive to the 0.01% that try to ruin it for the 99.99%.

• Respectful of others trying to help.
• Willing to help in a friendly manner.
• Not looking to stir things up just for sport.
• Participation as an individual and not for alternative motives (commercial).
• Watchdog for users/posts that are against community rules or the positive spirit of the community.

• Will provide feedback and comments to the community leadership.
• Will only maintain one id.
• Will keep email address correctly updated.
• Will not make commercial posts unless a sponsor or permission has been granted by Rob.
• Will not post private emails or PM's unless permission from that individual.
• For common topics will first search archives to see if question has already been answered, the thread just needs to be brought to the top, or if an entire new thread needs to be posted.
• Will place new threads in the proper forum.
• Will have descriptive and clear thread titles.
• Will not have animated or inappropriate avatar.
• Will only post bikini's in the bikini thread.
• Will take most one on one conversations (especially personal arguments) offline.
