I don't use the word epic loosely so when I do... take note. So this guy on an Audi forum... ah hell, I can't contain myself any more: Click me, register and clown this fool!
I actually wasted 10 min of my life and read the thread - it's supposed to be a variation on the Audi rings
Jerry, give me your opinion of the guy on page 4 of that thread "Mr Cool Ice". Do you think he could be a normal guy, a regular joe, or do tats like that betray some mental issues? http://www.audizine.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4273577&postcount=126
:armchair analyst glasses on: "Mr. Cool Ice" is unhappy with who he is in the *real world* and is creating a 'cool' persona through body art to be something more than he feels he ever will be. Also, by going so extreme with his tattoos he is forcing himself to never conform to society. He is also shouting it to the world that he isnt one of them. That he can play by his own rules. Sort of like 60s hippies and long hair. Its like a chihuahua putting on a pitbull suit and thinking it makes them tougher. In a way I relate to 'Mr. Cool Ice' as I have some of the same insecurities, though fortunately I see and understand most of my psychological quirks enough to not do something as extreme as what he has. I didnt get my first tattoo until I was successful..and that was intentional. I didnt want to A) close doors that could make me money and B) try to be 'Mr. Cool Ice' when i WASNT. It wasnt until people needed ME that i felt comfortable looking the way I wanted.
well put. Reminds me of the Dropkick Murphy lyrics to "Wicked Sensitive Crew" Well it's all gone to hell, now the wimps have gangs Pop punk tough guys with neck tattoos Well if you guys are hard, then I'd rather be soft Man I gotta find me some seriously sensitive dudes Hey! Ho! Hey! You gotta shake hands with your feelings In the Wicked Sensitive Crew
This kind of reminds me of you always hear people say "as soon as I strike it rich, I'm getting sleeves..."
